Breathtaking views, plenty to see and do on the Trail. You should plan accordingly as you will never have enough time to take it all in!

We had a ferry to catch in the afternoon, so we had only a few hours to enjoy the Cabot Trail. It would have been nice to make some longer stops and walk around a bit or enjoy a leisurely meal along the way, but...More

The sea, the forest, the breathtaking beauty around the bends, again and again. Plus, Ingonish is a great place to stay (Seascape Coastal Retreat, if they're not full; Keltic Lodge if you've got a few bucks to blow) and eat (The Seagull, for one; others...More

The Cabot Trail is incredibly beautiful seen from the safety of your car, or an overlook. I cycled from Baddeck to Cape North and then bailed. There is NO SHOULDER (loose sand and gravel), many huge trucks, and a speed limit of 60 that translates...More

Very long drive taking 7 hours and nothing memorable but a must do as this is Cape Breton Island. We r from Vancouver, so need I say more. Probably lovely in the fall as the trees would turn color.

A total must when visiting Cape Breton! It is the most beautiful drive you can do, with many look offs and beautiful trails and beaches to see. You won't see anything nicer then this!!

This drive can be done quickly but it would be a shame to rush. The road is at times lonely, and given proximity to the sea, sometimes moody with clouds and fog. The road is also rough in many places. Within the park -- much...More

One never gets tired of some of the spell binding scenery of this great Canadian Road Treasure. No trio to Cape Breton would be complete without this drive. Just make sure that you have lots of time to stop and meet some of the locals...More

I would like to stay in Baddeck, a small cute town where Alexander Bell lived. Google it. I love it. Wish you have a fantastic trip in Canada's East Coast. Sorry about the late reply.
