We started on the Cabot Trail and really stopped at so many places along the way. I was surprised at the number of people who actually live on the Cabot Trail and there were many places to stay, eat and enjoy. We found a beautiful...More

This was a once in a life time trip, if you need to work out your camera this is the trip, if you love eating sea food, this is the trip. Hiking biking walking, loved it

We had very high expectation before the trip. However, we were a little disappointed. We did counter clockwise. The north side is definitely better than the south side. There were a number of road constructions.

I've heard about the Cabot Trail from many who have done the route before. Everyone raves! We've been focused on international travel with little travel in Canada ... travel we can do when we can no longer travel internationally ... which now I see as...More

We did the drive counter clockwise from Sydney. The first side [south] was not that spectacular, a lot of it was away from the coast. In the provincial park a lot of road construction, dust, gravel road. The second side [north] was fantastic. We call...More

We did the Cabot trail in about three days, stopping at some small but scenic bed and breakfasts along the way. The drive is nice and quiet (except at the beginning in which there was a marathon of some sort, but we did not mind...More

This my 3rd time touring the trail, but my Girlfriend’s first. Driving the trail was glorious and challenging (when those 18 wheelers passed) . There was construction, but coming from Montreal no biggie. We lucked out and the weather was perfect. I think the best...More

The Cabot Trail has to be one of the most scenic adventures on Earth. We found driving counter-clock-wise to offer the best experience - especially after encountering a couple RVs on the narrow roads with hairpin turns. We spent two days on the trail, leisurely...More

Loved seeing the craggy coast and scenery. Lots of shards and nooks. Stopped at scenic overlook to take pictures and in harbors to see the boats and fisherman. McIntosh Brook picnic area has a nice walking trail and covered picnic tables in case of rain....More

I have never seen coastal California or Hawaii. But the views from the road on the Cabot Trail look exactly like them-maybe just a bit chillier. Aside for the multitude of look-out stops that the trail offers any other views worth taking photos of are...More

Anything comfortable - it sometimes gets chilly so you probably need some jackets and sweaters. However, I did pretty well in spring with just leggings and some long sleeved shirts + jackets. If you're looking to hike you... More

I would like to stay in Baddeck, a small cute town where Alexander Bell lived. Google it. I love it. Wish you have a fantastic trip in Canada's East Coast. Sorry about the late reply.
