Very scenic and peaceful walk along the downtown harbour. A very happening place in the summer with tourists and crew ships. Good places to eat and great music!

Loved walking along the board walk, starting with the giant fiddle and ending with a beautiful park. From here we picked up the walking tour. Was cold and windy on the day we visited so take a coat.

We really enjoyed the boardwalk on the waterfront. It allows you to stroll along the water for a brief period of time. You get to see great views of the harbour. I suggest walking through town and then making the return trip on the boardwalk.

It was ten years since I was last in what I remember to be a rather boring, sleep town with nothing to offer other than a rustic restaurant offering freshly caught Maine lobster. Thus, I was very surprised to see the newly revamped Sydney waterfront...More

Sydney has done a fine job sprucing up its waterfront with more restaurants and pretty view of the nearby water and The Big Fiddle. We had dinner at two restaurants during our three day stay at Sydney.

We didn’t have a plan to walk along the waterfront before we arrived, but it was a pleasant surprise when our cruise ship docked in this area. The wooden boardwalk was nice. Everyone walking seemed to be having a nice relaxing walk. It is very...More

I grew up in Sydney decades ago and it is heartwarming to see how alive the waterfront has become. I enjoyed the boardwalk and the various kiosks along the way. Adds beauty to my hometown.

The harbour in Sydney is quite wide. There are boats that can bring you to the waterfront district. It is worthwhile. I hope this helps.
