The Museum had well-presented information about the history, traditions, elders, and a few artifacts on display. The gift shop had a lot of items but mostly made by people other than locals.

Membertou is quaint with a heritage Museum and the traffic signs were in Mi'kmaq and English. We stayed at the Hampton Inn which was newly renovated and the staff was friendly and helpful.
