It's a small monument but very moving. Lots of world connections and a nice post modernist architecture. A bit off the beaten path when you consider the Dartmouth downtown corridor as a whole. Overall, a smaller exhibit of items when compared to other spots in the city and it's a 15 minute stop at most

This is Ok nothing cowrite home about. the idea is good but only pieces of rock from around the world. Good cover for kids though as the play park is right next door. Great views of the harbour.

Walked over here from adjacent Alderney Landing/ferry terminal. The structure itself conveys a very simple, yet important message. Inside the pavilion is a display of objects (stones, bricks, etc.) from numerous countries around the world. I found the display to be in need of cleaning as well as repair (ie: some displays were illegible). If you are interested in geology, art or ceramics, there are some items here of interest. If you are coming with young children, the adjacent park will entertain them for hours - otherwise, no more than 15 minutes is necessary here.

The pavilion is conveniently located in a park beside the Downton Dartmouth ferry terminal. It's very interesting to see stones and bricks from around the world and a piece of the Berlin Wall. However many of the labels and signs inside the case have fallen over or are missing. It looks like this place hasn't had some basic maintenance for a while.

Situated just outside of the Alderney landing terminal it is short walk through the adjacent park area where you firstly see the metal beams and curiosity draws you in. Behind the glass displays are various contributions from around the world of rocks and bricks with some offering a small explanation. Worth quick meander around the park and view if you have 20-30 mins. The park area itself enjoys open views across the harbour and there are some play areas for younger children to enjoy.

This is a very nice place to visit, the pavilion is so special and for the little ones, there is a park for them to play any ages can play there. There is the Ferry you can take to Halifax or just watch to go back and fore to the two cities. we love taking our grandchildren there especially when there is a special event going on.

it's a must see especial if you are looking for something to do with visitors on the Dartmouth side. Depending on interest level it will be 10 to 30 minutes. A five minute walk from the ferry terminal. Nice park. Outdoor display.

My girlfriend and I visited this monument this past summer. We both found it to be really cool to see all of these objects from around the world. However, the signs were not well presented if they were there at all. So it wasn't always easy or possible to see where objects came from.
