Clean park with taps, vault toilets, changing rooms, and a boat launch along with a number of picnic tables all by a beautiful lake just off the main road.

Yesterday, we came this provincial park. Its a very spacious park, lots of picnic tables, very clean!

There is also a free boat launch.

Totally a nice, relax location.

Highly recommended!

I always spend a good portion of my weekends here in the summer, weather permitting. It's always kept clean and the grass is always cut. Nice spot for all ages.

On our way to Digby Neck and we stopped here. The sun was shining and the lake beckoned. We never made it to Digby Neck. The kayak came down and the paddles went in.
Nova Scotia has got it right with FREE day use of Provincial Parks.

It's a pretty little park. Clean and well kept. You could do a little paddle in the lake. Or go for a walk or even just sit back in the sun or shade as you wish and relax.

This place saved the day after being disappointed by the freezing waters at Sandy Cove Beach. The water is also not salt water and not fishy smelling. The area and water was clean. No real beach but good swimming with a dock to swim out to. The bathrooms were yucky but there were many picnic tables to enjoy our lunch.

The lake itself is lovely about 3 km long and has many picnic tables on grass under trees all with nice views scattered over about 1/2 km of park. The key element though is for the entire 50 km from Digby to East Ferry there are two bathroom stops and one is a gas station near the beginning. From there unless you stop at this park, you must go all the way to East Ferry and hope the one eating place is open or you are out of luck. The park has one bathroom and it is not great, but it is usable.
