Lots of Halifax history to be seen, great avenues of pathways, lots of trees regrowing after the devastation of Hurricane Juan 15 years ago. Well used by city dwellers and tourists alike. Bus service from downtown takes you right to park edge.

To have such a beautiful park so close to downtown Halifax is a blessing. We visited during a holiday from England and, despite going to the park on a sunny Saturday, we couldn't believe how quiet it was. The scenery as the park runs adjacent...More

I have visited this incredible park many times over the past 20 years and it is always a treat. Beautiful mature trees, wide maintained walking trails, grassy areas and a waterfront view. A must visit for any trip to Halifax

There was plenty of free parking here, which was a bonus to me. The views of the water and the sea breeze were perfect for a walk on a summer day.

A wonderful break from all the history of Halifax and the young ones loved it. Many trails and access to the water.
