This is a great park to take the family, work out, take the dogs, fly a kite, hike, lovers walk. It's a huge park with access to so many things, and in the summer there is an open booth with food & snacks. Stunning park! 😄 👍👍👍👍👍

This park is well maintained. There are some areas that are off leash for dogs. Lots of parking close by. There are picnic tables to have lunch at too.

I went to a Shakespeare by the Sea play. Enjoyed not only the outdoor play but the absolutely gorgeous stroll through the magnificent park.

since I live only 45 minutes away i have been there a few times, but there is always something of interest to see and do. There are exceptional views of the halifax and dartmouth waterfront and the area is surrounded with old halifax historic properties

Point Pleasant Park provides lovely walks in a beautiful green space, with vistas of the great harbour. There are also a Martello Tower and other remnants of fortifications indicating the measures necessary for the defense of Halifax in the past.

A refreshing oasis at the tip of Halifax's central peninsula, Point Pleasant is an historic park where locals and visitors alike can enjoy an always-interesting network of forest-lined paths and trails. An excellent place to walk and run, and one of the most fun places in the city to walk dogs, with many large off-leash areas. Lovely views of Halifax... More

With lovely ocean trails, lots of trees and birds , this park is a wonderful sanctuary nestled right near Halifax city center. I think any family or couple would enjoy walking the trails in this park. You can enjoy a picnic in the park or you can sit by the ocean and read a book or you can walk one... More
