Went here during the Here Be Dragons exhibit and it was amazing. Although I'm not one for snakes, the lizards on display were so active and exciting to look at. The monitor lizard with the sword in the case was the cutest, with its forked...More

This museum is a little gem and has particularly interesting exhibits relating to NS wildlife and marine life including a tidal pool tank with live sea creatures. Check out the bee colony and try to spot the queen in the hive. Try to time your...More

Great museum that provides perspective of natural surroundings of Nova Scotia. I highly recommend visiting this museum first and then take part in a private tour of Halifax, and the Eastern Passage to be able to put the pieces together.

I like going here on occasion, especially when the exhibits change up! The differing displays are always educational, especially the animal ones, and personally I find the Oak Island exhibit interesting. Certainly have this on your to-do list!
