A wonderful place for a picnic and pictures. The gardens are colourful and well-kept and a large variety of foliage. Lots of pathways for strolling. Very calming and serene. Take your time!

Lots of pleasant flowers and plants. There is a little coffee shop inside. Close to downtown.Not a good place to go if its raining!

A beautifully park. Enjoy a walk around with your coffee. With going to. Parking here is cheaper. Lots of shops.near by and the university is close No loogans in it.

This place is close to Spring Garden Road one of the "main" streets of Halifax, there are a lot of shops and buses there; it is fairly close to downtown and Dalhousie. The Public Gardens is not too large but it can be very relaxing...More

depends on weather. the Citadel, waterfront boardwalk, Pier 21 immigration center, museum of the Atlantic titanic display, lots of live music, clubs and restos. fall leaves lots to do
