My husband and I went here as we were walking downtown Halifax to kill some time before a concert. There is a shrine of Sidney Crosby,a great place to go if you are a big or small fan of Sid the Kid.

Lots of stuff, lots of captions, lots of people honored. When I went they had a special Sydney Crosby exhibit which included the "famous dryer" along with the correction of the way the story is told. I had a few people I wanted to see and there was something there. A few interactive things such as a white board to... More

The Sports Hall of Fame is located with the Scotia Bank Center. It is free, and gives some background on Nova Scotia's sports history. When I visited there was a special exhibit on Sidney Crosby.

My 15 year old son, who is a hockey player and Crosby fan loved this display. It takes about an hour to really appreciate, with half of the museum being dedicated to Crosby. I'm not a hockey fan myself, but enjoyed the Sidney Crosby display. Well worth a visit.

Beyond the extensive Sydney Crosby memorabilia - including his 8th grade report card and his baby bottle - there isn't much there of any interest.

This is just a small museum, but well laid out with good explanations of all displays. I would have liked to see a bit more in-depth information about all the other sport that's taken place in Nova Scotia aside from Sidney Crosby... but it's a pretty good museum for what it is, and it covers a wide variety of sports.... If you like Sid the Kid and hockey, this is for you. There is I'm sure more to sport in Nova Scotia than Sidney Crosby.

If you are sports minded they do have some great exhibits here and they are well laid out and displayed. It is well worth the time to see and then take in a game at the Arena.

I don't get to the Scotia Bank Center that often, when I do it's usually with friends to take in a Moosheads game.At least once a year I walk through the Sport Hall of fame,it's free which is a bonus and has something for ever one.Sure there is a lot of Sidney Crosby, and that's interesting for sure but if you look...
