Don't waste your time on Casino Taxi

Used Casino taxi to go from 4 Point Sheraton Halifax to Scotiabank Centre for World Juniors Hockey Tournament. Of the 18 trips I took 17 were within $1 of each other. Not bad. One of the last trips, the driver turn on the meter while he was was helping me loading my walker in to trunk of the car. The others only turned the meter on when I got into the car and save an except 2 or 3 other drivers who never got out the car to help me with my walker. One driver even yelled at me when I requested that he drop me off at the handicap sign outside to the building I was going to. This one neve got the tip. On the positive side, I had to educate the first two morning drivers that I was going to a HOCKRY GSMR not a HOCKEY MATCH. I did get a slight laugh out of this one. As for New Year's Eve was advised by dispatch that the drivers would not pick me up as the road was closed. Dispatch even yelled at my wife when she told them the police would allow a cab through if they were picking up a person with mobility issues.. They didn't like being told what they could do. Even on New Year's Eve when I called they said "Oh you are the person who called the police". When a member of Hockey Canada saw me sitting in my walker waiting for a cab, he kindly offered me a ride back to my hotel. Calling the cab company I gave them my name and the again said "oh you are the person who calls the police " and then hug up. Would I use them again? In a word NEVER

NO SHOW !!! no call, text,,email. we were struck at pier with no tour. Sep 25,2022
very unprofessional.. avoid.
no one at pier had heard of them or their "pink" sign.

We had a fantastic day with "Les"! He grew up in Halifax and had so much fascinating history to share with us! He responded very quickly to my email questions and he had our day well planned so everything went smoothly. I would highly recommend him!!

A perfect day designed to suit our interests

Two couples: A visit to Peggy's Cove was our main interest. To get there to catch the morning light and visit before the crowds if possible. Les met us on the wharf as soon as we were able to disembark our ship. The van was comfortable, the journey and commentary interesting as we travelled along, and were able to get some good photographs before the tour buses arrived. We had requested a 4 hour trip and after Peggy's Cove visited the striking Swiss Air Monument nearby and back in Halifax were shown around the area above the city, narrated with interesting historical as well as local facts. After the trip with Les we explored the area above the city and the foreshore boardwalk area before our 4.00pm departure. An enjoyable day not too rushed, complete with interesting commentary and great memories of the visit. Our emails enquiries prior to our booking were handled promptly.

Loved our tour with Les

We took the 5 hour Peggy's Cove and Titantic tour while in Halifax on a cruise. Les picked us up right across the street from the terminal. Being a life long resident, Les had many interesting facts and stories to share as we rode through town, out to Peggy's Cove and to the Titantic cemetary. I highly recommend Les for your tour of Halifax!

Les picked us up at the dock as soon as we got off the ship. He customized the tour to our wishes. His knowledge of the area and history was amazing! Fantastic tour guide!!!!

Amazing Day Tour from cruisehip

Les picked us up at the port while we came in on Holland America's Zuiderdam. We were a party of six that chose to see Mahone Bay and Lunenburg Tour. It was great from the start. Emails before the excursion were handled quickly and efficiently. Les was on time at the port and his vehicle is very comfortable. We saw so many beautiful places and especially enjoyed Lunenburg. It was a great day private touring with Les. Les loves his town and all it has to offer. Would definitely use him again as you get great value and lots of insight.

Les was waiting for four of us as we disembarked the Queen Elizabeth. His van and its sound system were perfect and his knowledge of Halifax was very evident. Because 2 of us had lived in Halifax before, Les was very agreeable to altering his route so we could see some of our "old haunts". We also saw new places and learned a lot about modern day Halifax. We highly recommend Les and Halifax Taxi Tours for your next visit to Halifax.

Fantastic tour!

I did a lot of research before booking on my visit to Halifax on The Grandeur of the Seas. Les was a great guide and showed us all of the sights. The highlights were Peggy’s Cove and the Titanic Cemetery. Les also took us to a great local place for lunch. He certainly earned a five star review.
