This is our favorite place to take our dog, mostly because it is so close to the city (less than 10 mins from downtown core), but also because the lake is beautiful. In the summer we swim in it, and in the winter we walk...More

Easy access. Had no success fishing there last year but the dog enjoyed the water. Shocking that illegal clear cutting has taken place in the park.

We walked this trail yesterday and it was almost sunset, although the temperature was getting cooler it was great having a walk close to the lake and watching the sun as it fades away.

I have been 3 times so far and it keeps getting more and more beautiful and so many trails only discovered about a km of trail and the lake is huge and uncountable trails ! Really recommend to any one! Best thing it's free!
