I don't know why anyone would leave Halifax if they had one day in Halifax. I am referring to cruise ship passengers. I may go for quick run in Point Pleasant Park but I certainly would not book a tour outside the downtown. Walk of...More

Under construction for canada 150th and tall ships. No place to walk, noisy, smelly and unpleasant. No place to eat but Tim Hortons which has a lineup out the door. Avoid!

As the boardwalk is currently interrupted by construction it is shorter than you might hope unless you are content to walk around it all and continue further on somewhere. Restaurants and bars as well as the museum are available to interest everyone however.

Yes. People walk their dogs on the boardwalk quite often. they have to be on a leash and you must, of course, pick ul after them. If your dog is cute (and aren't they all?) be prepared for the occasional petter.

Probably one of the easiest ways is to type the Visitor Center address. There is a lot of parking around there. It's $16.00 for the day -- until 6:00-- and then there is another charge, or you can pay at the. Meters.
