I attended DAL in the 60's and it was both enlightening and interesting to see all of the many addistions to the campus that has spread so much down University Avenue. New buildings tend to have kept a similar architecural style as the old campus so the end result looks pretty pleasing.

We went for our grandson's competition so gave us chance to view the grounds which are fabulous. He did great and came home with badges which he does all the time and he is only 13 and we are all very proud of him especially grandparents and of course his mom too....

Dalhousie University is a large sprawling urban campus that has within it three campuses in Halifax and one in Truro about 100 kilometres away. It is not a single site but rather a rich and diverse array of interesting scholarship.

I went to tour with my daughter who was starting fall classes. It is an easy campus to navigate and is very pretty. It has a great community feel and my daughter loves it. So many houses near campuses house students, so it is a great city to be a college student in.

I stayed there with a youth group of 50 people and the dorm that we were in, Le Marchant, was great! It was clean, fresh and comfortable. The breakfast in howe Hall could have been better. If you are looking for a place to stay with a large group, this is it!!

Amazing architecture and a beautiful campus. Lots of activity in spite of the off season. Some gorgeous old buildings. Worth a drive by for sure. Would like to have seen inside.

Very much a typical dorm, but oh is the price right....less than $70 Canadian...washroom down the hall in the middle of the night, not optimal, but a great location and a good place all in all...

A wonderful venue for a conference! The campus is central and an easy walk from hotels. Interesting buildings to see.

This university has a great vibe, and is (like everything in Halifax) a beautiful historical monument. I attended a conference that directed me to many different areas of the university, and from that perspective, there were many places to eat, relax, and enjoy.
