Great campsite, lots of privacy and a beautiful beach almost like you were in PEI. This was our 3rd year there and will go back next year.

We stayed at the RV park on Caribou/ Mumries island. We enjoyed the the opportunity to walk right out onto the spit from our campsite. The campground has very, very limited bathroom facilities, bicultural what was there was clean and modern

Though I'm a NBer through and through, I've fallen in love with the Sunrise Trail and particularly the area around Caribou. Great, unspoilt region of our country.

We had chosen a dite but discovered it was too small. It was a busy time and they offered us an overflow site. Be careful as the sites tend to be long but not deep. Regardless they wete very accomodatiing.

I love this area for walking. Its also a great camping area/ picnic area. The setting is mostly located in a wooded area which is great for the look and feel of a campground setting.

Caribou Island Provincial Park is a lovely spot for a picnic, a day at the Beach, or a long walk on the beach.

Its a beach, its clean and easy to get to... nice way to spend the day... the ocean sounds alone will soothe the savage beast.

Day use access to Provinical Parks is free in Nova Scotia! Booked a campsite here for four nights and LOVED it. Warm water, clean beaches, manicured landscapes and large campsites. Take a drive into Pictou and be sure to stop at the community craft shop...More
