Hey, its free to go and check out, and while I wouldn't say its a major attraction or anything, its a nice spot to go and take a quiet moment or two.

Excellent parking at the base of the Spirit Catcher. Great view of the south west end of Kempenfelt Bay of Lake Simcoe. Photographers enjoy the area all all it has to offer

A great picture spot winter or summer overlooking the water (also video worthy as "wings" move in wind!) Nice meeting point (visible from everywhere and nice view of area right next to parking lot so easily accessible. Walking distance to downtown for nice coffee shops...More

A focal point when visiting the waterfront. Its weird looking at first but fun for taking pictures by the water.

Our family really enjoyed taking photos around the Spirit catcher. What a beautiful piece of art!! Would certainly recommend friends to visit it.

Nice to look at the bay , however having the tines swinging above you is not comforting. One could break off and well that could ruin ones day. I heard a rumour that one of the wings/tines did come loose and fell to the ground....More

No, you just walk down to the water and the Spirit Catcher is right there.

Correct, it is on the waterfront in Barrie, great place to walk and take the kids, there is a playground within walking distance
