Absolutely amazing little zoo for kids. Took my husband, dad, and 3 year old daughter. She was absolutely enthralled. The entire place is well maintained, the animals are healthy and happy. I have been to backyard zoos and this is NOT one of them. This place is well taken care of with folks who love the animals. Will be getting a season pass next year so I can take my kiddo out there on a regular basis. Also stopped in at the food truck. Hamburgers, hotdogs, french fries etc. Today being the last day of the season, they were out of fries, but the hot dogs and burgers were delicious! Cute outdoor playground for the kids with picnic tables around to eat the lunch. Overall, great way to spend a Sunday!

Wow! I was so impressed with this zoo. The last time I visited was in 1992 so I was long overdue for a visit and was overjoyed to see how much it has grown. I honestly visit a LOT of zoos and this one stood out for various reasons. 1. Just 25 minutes from home; it was the perfect driving distance for two little boys. 2. What a diverse variety of animals! My daughter, partner and their two sons age 3 and 5 are visiting from Australia and have been to several zoos there and along with myself we couldn't believe the amount of animals we had never seen before (mostly birds) 3. The zoo itself was clean, spacious, and well laid out. Lots of picnic tables, various areas to rest, etc. and the washrooms were clean. 4. Playground area with climbing structures for the little ones were different and impressive. 5. All the animals cages had several items, toys, etc. to keep their activity levels stimulated which was really nice to see and all the animals seemed active and happy.
6. The zoo was just the right size for an afternoon visit. I will certainly return!

This is an amazing zoo. I try to come often, once a year. We all love it here, and will be returning soon. Lots of beautiful animals to see, a park for the kids and lots of picnic spots to eat lunch..

My son (9) and I loved this zoo. Even though it's small, it really makes a difference to be up close to the animals. I saw comments about the state of the enclosures, but they looked fine and I trust the zoo and staff do their best to take care of the animals. My only suggestions are to go early if you don't want to line-up for parking (it takes about 10-15 minutes while you wait for other guests to leave) and buy animal food when you buy your tickets. They sold out and we shared ours with a disappointed family so their kids could feed the goats. We'll be back!

My family and I have been attending the Twin Valley Zoo for years, but this unfortunately stops today.
We were denied access due to a service dog for disabilities.
We are greatly disappointed that the Zoo is not an inclusive space and hope that they look into the basic service animal laws in Ontario.

Brantford Twin Valley Zoo is the third zoo I’ve been outside Toronto in Ontario. Lovely place and the animals are in good shape. I’m a big fan of the tigers. We were lucky to watch the lady feeding the wolves. The albino python is a must see.
Overall we had a great time and a big thank you to the nice staff.
Cheers

The zoo is finally open! This was our first trip here but when we heard it's open with all of the Covid-19 going on we thought we would go for a nice walk.
The staff were friendly. We picked a very hot day so most animal's weren't too active but we saw lots. The baby bears were adorable!
We were able to return to our vehicle for our cooler and bring it back in to eat our lunch without any issues. Parking is free.
Look forward to returning once the shows are operating.

This is a lovely place. Especially great for children as there are lots of play and rest areas. The animals have lots of room to roam but seem to like the presence of people, so there are lots of photo opportunities. As just a couple, it took us two hours to see everything while taking lots of photos. Allow one and a half to two hours longer if with children. We would definitely come back.

This zoo is the perfect size for young kids. Took us 2.5 hours with a little lunch break in between. It’s well-cared for, the staff are friendly, the spaces are mostly decent-sized all things considered, and the variety of animals lovely. Some of the paths were (naturally) steep and a-bit rough for strollers/accessibility, but overall the shade of trees, the many resting spots, clean bathrooms, kids play zone, and ponds made this a peaceful, worthwhile outing. A gem in the country.

We drove west along the Linc to Hwy 403 and took exit 55 for Hwy 52. Turn left on 52 and then right on Hwy 2. Turn left on Langford Church Rd and the zoo is just a little ways up on your left.

Hi, i was there today and noticed when looking at the wolves they couldn't come up to the visitors fence because they were blocked in by another fence. Is it always like this or maybe they just hadnt gotten to opening it all yet?

I saw double fence to when we were there as well.
