Burlington is so smart to of ensured that this waterfront access - Spencer Smith Park- has been maintained and enhanced over the years. So many great festivals take place here such as the Burlington Sound of Music Festival - amazing. Also, just enjoy the seasons and walk along the waterfront, the playground or a picnic.

The park is great for a walk or a picnic. In the wonder the winter lights are beautiful. Each year a new display is added. This is a popular destination for young families and couples. Make sure your phone is charged because you will want to take pictures and videos.
Bundle up though, it is right in the water and it does get windy.

Summertime this is a great location for a walk or picnic. Even during COVID there is plenary of space so you can physically distance from other park goers. Bring a blanket and stretch out on the grass and enjoy a picnic, read a book, have a conversation.

Park up on Locust or have lunch first at Soencer’s And enjoy their parking. A great place to start your walk on the beach strip , or skate free in winter(limited supply of free skate rentals) . Before Christmas the lights in the park are magical and a special delight to children of all ages. Other festivals throughout the year with music , ribs ,and Canada Day celebrations. Adjacent to the renovated and expansive Joseph Brant Museum. Good place to watch sunrises.

Been a staple in my life to go down to this park. Clean, well kept. Lots of action, young and old. Makes you feel like you are part of a great community. Playground is wonderful and so is walk way. The use of washrooms, during covid has been great and hopefully they can reopen properly the burger place. I find the hours to be weird and not accommodating for families. Lots of people but no emphasis on selling food.

By far the most beautiful area to walk and enjoy nature, in Burlington. Splash pad for warm weather wonderful playground for children. There’s a boardwalk for running, cycling or strolling hand-in-hand with someone special.

Grab a coffee or ice cream and stroll the Burlington waterfront which stretches from the beach paths to the pier. Young families can enjoy the playground and splash pad conveniently located side by side. Many picturesque stops along the walkway to capture the memory in a photograph..

I visit this area often. Consists of waterfront, pier and park areas along with walking and biking paths. Free parking however at a premium on weekends and some warm evenings

Even on a slighlty damp and somewhat drizzily day, this made for a nice promenade.Felt like you were well away from town when you weren't. Nice place.

A developed, 4 seasons , park offering modest walking opportunities, lakeside, benches, with plenty of paid parking.
