A sculpture park on banks of Grand River. It has few sculptures but best part is the views of Grand river that are just mesmerizing. Sculptures are depiction of modern art. It is just a small collection but good enough for a visit.

The Cambridge Sculpture Garden was a pleasant surprise on my walk along the Grand River. I saw 5 interesting sculptures, all in different styles and mediums, that were briefly explained on their entrance plaque. I enjoyed the flowers that were in bloom in the late summer. The best part is...this space is free.

If you’re planning a visit to Cambridge (or if you live there) do yourself a favour and visit the Cambridge Sculpture Garden. There are a handful of stunning permanent sculptures nestled in beautifully manicured grounds. I was particularly taken with the oversized metal maple key and the deconstructed house unfolding into the sky! Sit in the shade of the heritage designated Oak tree, appreciate your surroundings and connect with nature. A path meanders through the centre of the garden (look for the leaf patterns that have been pressed into the surface). Recently added are several whimsical birdhouses which should attract an interesting assortment of nesting birds. The brightly coloured benches along the walkway at the top of the berm offer a view of the Grand River and access to a pedestrian bridge. It’s hard to believe this gem of a park was started, and continues to be cared for, by a group of very dedicated and passionate volunteers. There is a lot of beauty and interest packed into this small city park! Their website is very informative: the history of the land, the construction of the gardens, the artworks and artists, the species of trees and plantings…it’s all there! Hats off to people who care about public spaces and art in their community!

This sculpture garden is very limited with a very small trail. Cambridge needs to get its rat population under control. The river banks and surrounding area is filled with rats who don't care about humans being near. There is very limited wildlife in this area. The Grand River does not appear to be that clean, and garbage may be seen floating in it.

Gee we are sorry you had a terrible experience. This is a beautiful garden with 5 permanent sculptures along the river and Grand Ave S. Our gardens are enjoyed by hundreds of people every week. Come back please and scroll along the river and sit in one of the 7 benches along the river and in the garden.

You can see it all in about 3 minutes, however it is a pretty setting with benches and picnic tables next to the Grand River. Across the street you find the Southworks Outlet Mall. The park is kept nice and you will enjoy the sights.

What a beautiful way to enjoy this part of the city. Nestled along the Grand River is a pretty path through greenspace and gardens. Scattered throughout the gardens are intriguing sculptures. My favourite of today's walk was the Audio Bee Cabinet. Working with the natural environment artist Sarah Peebles creates both art and an educational experience showing the mysteries of the mason bee.

Its a beautiful spot along the river and easily accessible from main part of downtown. Excellent place to picnic in the shade with tables provided. But there were only a few pieces on display - and while understandable given its volunteer run etc we had thought it would have had a few more pieces. It was a quick visit.

Indeed, I expected more in this garden, more of a botanical garden than sculptures, but with extensive work going on at one end, perhaps there is an expansion or at least an upgrade to the site. It's right across from the Dunfield Theatre, with a walking path along the Grand River, and as such, a nice site.

Im not sure if we were lost, but it seemed that the garden didn't have that many sculptures. We walked down the river, but there was not a whole lot to see. Although it is still a beautiful walk, and it's free! I imagine it to be much more enjoyable in the summer weather .
