We stopped at a part of the beach that was rocky and had several historical plaques. It was inspiring to read some of the history and look off into the distance, imagining what it must have been like for those in the past.

The last time I was at Crystal Beach was 4+ years ago when the only parking was a small concrete pad with 20-30 spots. This year, we drove through this year around 2:30 to face total pandemonium with cars trying to get into full parking...More

Workers are discourtsey. Beach is CROWDED! Not a good spot at all especially for families and pets. (pets are also not allowed) they will offer to tie your pet to the gate in the blazing hot sun while you “enjoy” yourselves on the crowded beach....More

Way too crowded and the beach isn't that nice. Need more garbage cans to facilitate the garbage that people leave all around. Weird crowd of people. They should charge more money to help maintain it better.

Wonderful area to visit and take pictures. A shame a lot of the nicer areas are private only. Would have loved to have seen the lighthouse.

We came to Crystal Beach after hearing amazing things about it. Our expectations were shattered when we saw the water. It was filthy and seemed like sewers ... oily!!!!(all the boats passing by??), trash, tons of seaweed and disgusting moss. There were seagulls all over....More
