Disgusting beach. Terrible smell, nasty black substance on the beach. I developed a rash after laying on the beach for only 30 minutes. I couldn’t stand the smell so I got up and left. Really unsanitary. Wouldn’t recommend

Do not go to this beach if you plan on swimming. It smells like a washroom, you have to walk through sludge to get to the water, the first 20 feet of water looks black. I’m not sure what it was whether it was algae or something else but it looked dirty. No one lasted longer than 5 mins in the water. The public beach is not maintained or cleaned. The sand is filled with sea shells that will actually hurt your feet to walk on. I asked a local if the black substance was usually there. She said “no it’s not usually black, it’s usually green”. That doesn’t make it any better.
