This is a nationally recognized historical view and is worthy of that. Unfortunately Guelph has some short sighted councillors and a mayor that want to put an apartment building next to it. They think it will help seniors with affordable housing but that has a short time limit and then only the privileged will be able to afford to live... More

Enjoying the fall weather. Made a stop at the church. It is so very grand and clean. Went in for a 10 minutes then walked around the grounds before heading down the road.

We were in Guelph and had some time to stroll in the downtown area. It's quite a visible landmark and very accessible if you're shopping or dining downtown. The hillside is nicely landscaped, and the church itself is absolutely gorgeous. Glad to have seen it!

This church is beautiful and interesting. We visited while in downtown Guelph. The history makes you feel part of the past.

Work being done on steps at side entrance; lots of parking. Beautiful building. Guided tours are available at certain times of week. Check on-line before visiting.

The charming memorial to Flanders Fields Poet John McRae and the lighting and paths made what we thought would be short cut into an event. Next time in Guelph we will visit again.

Beautiful cathedral in Guelph. The people are very friendly after mass and will chat with newcomers and invite you to their coffee hour and fellowship time.

The church of our lady is visible from every major road entering the city, sitting high atop the hill in the centre of town... very pretty and a nice landmark, even for the non-religious!
