I played there this week. I walk, so asked for a golf pull cart. What they have appears to be 30 years old and out of date. Old 2 wheel carts that require pushing (downhill) and pulling (uphill). It is a back breaker. I always walk, but these carts resulted in back strain after 12 holes.

Not acceptable. Get with it and get three wheel golf push carts.

This golf course in worth the money they charge you for 18 holes. Thus course comes in at 6800 yards par 71 and scenic with a few tough holes and a few straight forward holes will keep
Your interest for 18 holes, should your concentration laps you surely will make a bogie or higher,

Victoria Park East (and its sister course, Vic Valley) are a golfer's delight. The two courses offer 45 holes of championship or executive length, at reasonable rates. Family owned, they truly treat you like family. Been golfing at Vic East for 40 years and Vic Valley for 3 years. Interesting layouts with fun for all handicap levels. Vic East (Big Vic) offers banquet and party facilities for golf and non-golf events. Good food and service and golf, at prices that trump the big city courses. Have done a charity tournament here for 20 years and they have never come up short, unlike my putts.
Give them a try; you will return.

I do not play golf, but I like going to that place for dancing. There is a monthly (or semi monthly) dance party at the ballroom hall, and it is really good.

The course is stunning but the pace of play is atrocious. There are no marshals and four groups on a hole. If you don’t mind waiting a lot between every shot then this is the course for you

Had a wonderful day at this course. From the snack bar staff where we bought coffee, to the members in front and behind who were warm and welcoming to all grounds staff along the way, it was a wonderful day. Course is fair but deceptively challenging. Would highly recommend and will play again!

This old course has something for every player, except perhaps the pros competing in my town at the Canadian Open. This par 71 course is generously laid out in well-manicured fairways, greens and bunkers, and is eminently walkable. Water is not a factor except on the par 3 4, 6 and 13 holes, whose length can make them tricky in windy conditions. Although there are lots of trees, holes aren't too tight and the course grooming will make it difficult to lose your ball. My only peeve is with the pro shop which, on this Saturday, sent out too many twosomes that tended to slow down the pace. The food and service in the restaurant is excellent. Overall, a fine and fun course. Oh, and the wild turkeys were abundant.

This is a long time established 18 hole golf course in Guelph. Full length with several tee boxes to satisfy novice to expert. Can get busy on weekends. Price is up a bit but not like big city courses. Quite walkable. Mostly undulating flat with a couple hills. Challenging.
Staff keeps course in great shape and greens are fabulous.
Nice snack bar. Has full practice range.

Down the road a couple kms, they have a second, executive length, 27 hole course. It is the best executive course in the region, maybe Ontario. Try both.
