We visited a day before Halloween, we could find few pumpkins but as such decorations were awesome. The tarts were so delicious but it was the last day before they closed for season. I do have plans to go for next Halloween to have better views of pumpkin Patch.

We've been going here since my Daughter was a baby and will continue to do so for as long as she wants to. They have a multitude of stuff to do for the kids, never a dull moment and they never want to leave. They have food and drink hay rides, corn maze, games, magician, etc etc. They should get their liquor license, we'd never leave ! See you in the fall.

It was a family outing to enjoy pumpkin patch and this visit did not disappoint at all. Pumpkins were almost over but little themed patches were enjoyable . The bakery also had good collection of pumpkin delicacies

First, PLEASE know that if you book a b-day party you do not get to go into the general area and enjoy 90% of the fun things to do. Including the giant corn maze. The one lady was great but the second was a teenager who seems bored. Food was decent not great. Cheap sugary drinks.
Make you sure tell your guest not to enter the general area and pay !!! One young family was late to party, went to designated sign, no one was there so they paid thinking the group was in that area to find us. They couldn’t find the party group so they called us on our cells. We came back from private wagon ride within 10 minutes. They were waiting by the spot where we get off. This place would NOT refund their money(47.50). Manager was very rude and bitchy. Saying because they are late it’s their fault. Wow! Ended up agreeing to refunding 2 children off the b-day so paid this young family back the money out of my own pocket. This family farm has turned puts on the illusion of fun, family oriented but they are simply after your money. There is no explanation why a paid party cannot enjoy the bests perks of the farm without having to pay again for general admission. This should have been explained.
So basically I paid $400 for crap!!! Do not book a bday party there.

A trip to Strom's used to be about the pumpkins - now they seem to have their hands in your pocket at every turn. The October atmosphere is still a treat, and I don't mind paying more for the pumpkins in exchange for the experience. Also, though the maze and games would be fun, at $12 per child, there's no way I was sending my 3 children in to explore. Had the management at Strom's put a $5/head admission, then we would have gone and my children could have enjoyed the fun.
Ah, what am I complaining about? The pumpkin industry must operate off of razor thin margins, so they have to stave off insolvency by up-charging everything else, I guess.... :-)

Stroms grows many heritage varieties of sweet corn, all very tasty and not like the watered down "peaches and cream" you get at the grocery store. Picked hourly during August and September. They also have a store, bakery and other fruit and vegetables - corn maze and kid's activities. But the corn is the reason!

I went with my mother, 11 yr old niece, and 7 yr old nephew, and we all had a ball! Bring lots of cash because there’s lots to do and lots to eat. Knowing that most of what we spent ended up as donations to local social services just made it all that much more worthwhile.

Having just moved to Guelph I was interested in finding a good place for some local corn and was told Strom's was the best.
I visited on a Sunday and while busy I was still able to find good parking and the staff were all friendly and helpful.
I purchased half a dozen corn (I didn't need that many as it was only 2 of us for dinner but there was no other choice), cherry tomatoes, a cantaloupe, and a cherry pie.
It was a little pricey but these places typically are so I went in expecting it. That said, the corn was beautiful, fresh and sweet, the tomatoes full of flavour, the pie was delicious and lovely pastry.
Suggestion: Show the price of the corn, allow people to buy singles if needed, I like to choose my own not have them bagged already.
All that said it was a positive experience, nice products and I'm glad to support a local farm business.

Sometimes the corn tasted old when cooked. I paid way too much money for a dozen corn. The price just keeps going up, but the taste does not get better.

I visit Stroms on a regular basis in the summer time. Their corn is amazing and fresh from the field (try "Pay-Dirt" it is good). They also make amazing pies ... try the pecan.
