We had a lovely tour of the downtown eateries. Lynn is very well versed in Guelph's history and presented it in an enthusiastic manner. You can tell she has great rapport with local vendors and restaurants, each segment flowed nicely with no waiting.
The food was SO good, we definitely had enough to eat and it was wonderful to try new things. Each stop delivered a quality product. Highly recommend :)

We booked a private corporate Taste Detour for a Teambuilding event. Lynn was very easy to work with (despite many, many changes!) and was so incredibly helpful! She worked with me to plan a perfect tour for the team that included appetizers at La Reina (OMG, we will be back for more margaritas and tacos soon), small bites and cocktails at Miijidaa (you have to check out their drink menu) and ended with a beer tasting and dessert at The Wooly Pub. My team is STILL raving about the food! And on top of that, Lynn is an amazing tour guide who is so knowledgeable and passionate about the City of Guelph. We learned so much, got to see a bit more of the city and had great food and an overall outstanding experience. HIGHLY recommend Taste Detours!! What a great teambuilding event!

We had a fabulous time with Lynn. She has an infectious personality and has a wealth of knowledge regarding the history of Guelph. There was so much fantastic food that we had enough to take home for dinner. I would not hesitate to book this tour and plan on buying some for gifts.

Lynn is an enthusiastic, super friendly and welcoming host for this very tasty and enjoyable food tour in Guelph. Lynn and the establishments we visited were well prepared to do the tour during Covid. Guelph is a beautiful city with lots of great places to eat. I had no idea and hope to get back soon. I did the tour with my husband, siblings and parents and we all thoroughly enjoyed our time with Lynn!

My son and I took a day trip to Guelph from Toronto. We spent three "delicious" hours with Lynn - Chief Epicurean Officer - exploring restaurants (ALL fabulous!), walking streets and alleys, and learning a great deal about Guelph's rich history. Lynn is a very warm and entertaining guide. She clearly loves Guelph and her passion is infectious.I highly recommend Taste Detours as a great way to discover Guelph!

We did this amazing tour whilst visiting Guelph from Australia.
Lynn Broughton owner and guide provided an incredible history of Guelph including sampling the local food and wine which was awesome. The rain added something special to our day and certainly did not put a dampener on this fantastic event. I would encourage locals and tourists to see Lynn on her tour/. Thanks Lynn! Great tour, not too long, 2 hrs... Very good history lesson on Guelph, downtown area.
Restaurant snacks were delicious. This was a family outing that interested everyone.

Lynn curated a fabulous outing for our team that brought us up close with mother nature and an engaging tour of her Heartwood farm (horse and wagon ride, barn animals, regenerative soil discussions, and a nice cider tasting to top it off). We also toured the quaint city of Guelph and sampled some of its finest locavore delights. The tour was well-organized and timed, and Lynn was a very good communicator and paid attention to our special needs and diets. Don't hesitate to let Lynn take the reigns on a custom tour for your group.

Not sure which one of your group this is, but really appreciate you! The tour was fantastic for me too. Curating a customized tour for a corporate or private group is really very fun and something we hope to do more of in the future.

A friend and I took this tour to get a sample of what some of the restaurants in our city had to offer. We ended up with a much richer experience. Lynn's delivery of Guelph's history and her choice of restaurants was a real treat. I recommend this tour to anyone who has a couple of hours to spare and wants to make them memorable!

I am a Guelphite and I learned so much about my city, Guelph, on this tour as well as experiencing some great restaurants that I had not been to before. Lynn was very personable. My friends and I are planning to do the weekend tour that visits 6-7 different venues in the near future. Well worth it whether you are a visitor or a local!
