This place always amazes me! I love being able to see the different animals up close! Bring a bathing suit and towels for the kids. They do have a really cool area for kids to cool off if it is during a warm summer day! They have different shows, I attended the birds of prey show which featured many different... More

The safari was a wonderful discovery for us. We took our 3 bos aged 5, 7 and 9 and we all loved it. There was a fantastic array of animals and tons of helpful staff around protecting the people and the animals. There was a good vibe of well cared for animals (one of the more successful breeding programs around... More

I first went to African Lion Safari as a kid and loved it. Today as an adult I returned as an impromptu date. While there are an impressive collection of wild beasties from around the world, my adult eyes could see the boredom and depression in the animals. Except the monkeys, I think they enjoyed climbing cars. This place is... More

We've driven through places like this before but none where the lion were roaming around free. Amazing to get so close. The shows are very fun and unique. Better then the shows they do at the zoo.

African Lion Safari was probably one of the highlights of our kids summer vacation. We first decided to spend the extra money and take the tour bus around the park. Our driver was fun and knowledgeable. Afterwards we stopped by the splash park and ate lunch. It was really really expensive to eat there so I highly recommend you budget... More

So happy we decided to go. Both our kids, as well as ourselves, loved it. This place caters to all ages. Very educational and fun. Water park is awesome. Buy tickets at Costco to save a few bucks. Will return.

There is so much to do at African Lion Safari (and almost everything is included in admission, including parking!) The drive through the safari is awesome - seeing all the animals. You can drive your own vehicle or pay an additional fee to ride the air-conditioned buses with narration. The monkeys are my favourite part! There is also the African... More

We got to the safari and it was lined up huge and we almost turned around. Good thing we didnt!!!! The park was great and the kids enjoyed all the animals they had. We took the bus tour instead of driving threw ourselves and we enjoyed that. The splash pad for the kids was a great feature on the hot... More

In addition to animals, grandchildren loved the splash pad. Also had dog runs in the shade with a nice breeze and bowl of water for "four-legged" members of family.

The drive thru the "safari" is what most people think of when they think of ALS, and it was good, really good, to see such a wide variety of animals up close. No, not all the animals were active and coming right up to your car, but that's understandable. The other animal attractions were even better though i.e. the elephant... More
