Recently played King's Forest and paid $58.00 for a walking rate on a Saturday morning. The course is easily walkable as it is not too hilly. Green's and fairway were kept very well. The course is challenging with some interesting hole layouts and strategic shot placements. I would definitely try to come back and play this course again. Greens had... More

With the two for one deal you cannot go wrong. This course is well maintained fun, challenging, and in great shape. Any day golfing is a great day.

My friends, both good golfers were surprised by the quality of a "muni course". Well maintained by City. Carts getting a little long in the tooth and a few other areas where investment is needed to bring amenities up to the standard of the course. That said, course was challenging. Greens a little slow, but we attributed to very significant... More

A really good golf course run by the city of Hamilton in the East end of the city. The golf course is tucked up under the Niagara escarpment and is very scenic as well. A tee time booking is certainly a must especially on the weekends.

We had a number of people say we should try this golf course. We are glad we did as it's a very pretty layout with interesting elevation changes and a river running through the course. Lots of slopey lies. We walked and it is a very good walk with one very steep hill fortunately going down. We had read that... More

Some public GC's are not well maintained considering the volume of play, however this one was top notch. Great layout and friendly staff.

overall nice course but there were too many non-golfers just casually walking around with their dogs, playing in the sand bunkers while smoking. What were those people thinking? Did they think it is a public park? It is very dangerous and distracting. Management didn't seem to care.
