Fantastic acoustics. Lovely theatre hall. 6 of went to see The Proclaimers they were very good. My only gripe is when we entered I purchased 6 drinks no problem. The next time my friend went to buy a round upstairs she was only permitted to buy 2 at a time!!! We were told by the bar staff this was the rules. Seems a bit over the top however it didn’t detract from a great night.…

Went here with the wife to see Jimmy Carr, and we had front row seats in the 2nd balcony. It was a bit of a walk to get there, but the seats were good and I don't think there would be a bad seat in the whole building. Sound was excellent, and the concessions were well run. Good job Hamilton!!…

Hamilton place is very old and really needs updating badly but the seating is good, it is of the size that it brings in a lot of great performers and most importantly, the sound is amazing. The down side is it is old and in bad need of updating, beggars often bothering people on their way in or out, the woman's washrooms do not have enough toilets (1st balcony level apparently has 3 toilets my better half tells me) which makes for long lineups, and if you are older there can be a lot of walking and steps to get to your seat. But I still love concerts here and think Hamilton is very lucky to have this venue.…
