Stopped at Adventure Village on our way to Toronto to kill some time.
Adventure Village includes a number of attractions including mini-golf, batting cages, bungee trampoline, and rock climbing. There are fun packs to let you do multiple activities at a cheaper price than paying for them individually. The mini-golf is nothing super fancy, but the course provides you with some interesting facts about the history of the area. My son had fun trying flips on the bungee trampoline. This is a great way to spend an afternoon.

Although I had passed Adventure Village many times I had never taken the opportunity to go there. After reading reviews on this place I decided to take my grandchildren on an outing here. There are several different admission offers but we simply chose the mini golf package . It was a really fun course.. and fairly long so it did take some time. That was ok because we were not in a hurry. After completing the course we stopped at the refreshment booth on site for a drink for my grandson. My granddaughter chose a beverage from the vending machine which also had a good variety to choose from. Prices for food and drink seemed reasonable although we did not try the food . After sitting for a while I bought a “ bag of gem stones” for my granddaughter to sift through. It consists of a small bag of sand with “gems” inside and you have to dump into a sieve along a water trough and sift out the sand to find your “ gem stones”. Both children enjoyed doing this and my grandson decided to buy a bag as well . This led to a 3 rd larger bag to share. You are provided with a guide to the stones you find. We found the larger bag had more sand in and less gem stones than the small!
All in all this was a fun couple of hours. The mini golf course is in excellent shape and the park is very clean!

We were members of a group of 18 playing mini golf at Adventure Island. The 18 holes each contain a plaque with various historical information about Hamilton and the surrounding area. Challenging little course, with some interesting holes: part of the package that we purchased included lunch, which consisted of a choice of either a burger, sausage or chicken breast, accompanied by fries or salad, and a drink. This is where this attraction lost a star in its rating, as all the cooked items were cold, including the fries. The golf was enjoyable!

We purchased a 3-hour pass for unlimited rock wall, bumper cars, laser tag, mini golf. It also included the batting cages, which we weren't interested in, but we would have had about 30 minutes left to do. Seemed to be perfect for the 12-year-olds, as they were able to do all of the activities without assistance. Their favourite thing was the bungee trampoline, which cost extra. On a busy day, it would probably be worth the extra $5 for an all-day pass; it wasn't busy when we went so we didn't have to wait to do anything. Looks like a lot of offices plan an outing with the 2-item pack for 1 game each of mini golf and laser tag - great team-building!

My first time, but our kids (9 and 6) have played mini golf here several times with my husband. I decided to buy a 3 pack plus a large gem mining bag thinking that would last us a few hours. We were finished in an hour! Next time I will purchase the three hour unlimited play.

We arrived right at opening and all of the teenage staff were hanging out at the ticket booth. When we went to the bumper cars which is next to the booth, nobody came out. We decided to try going over the batting cages. Again, nobody was there. We walked back to ticket booth where all of the staff was still at the booth standing around. I was irritated and asked if someone could come over to the batting cages. One girl came over and helped us put on helmets, pick out bats and operate the machines.

The same girl helped us with the gem mining which turned out to be a bag of dirt with some "gems" that she split between my two kids unevenly in the sifters, so that one kid ended up with tons of gems and the other with two or three. The kids sifted the dirt away in literally 30 seconds. The three of us just stood there going, "Is that it?" A complete waste of money.

Finally, someone was running the bumper cars and we enjoyed a very long ride. I found the exhaust fumes very strong, but just tried to hold my breath. What I liked about these cars is that the bumper is huge, so the impact isn't as jolting except for when someone hits you from behind. The controls were also very easy to use and car actually goes in the direction you want.

The laser tag is in a wooded section with, trees, rocks and fences. I don't think the game was as fun since it was the three of us and after awhile we got bored and quit the game. It probably would have been better with more people.

And that was our hour of four attractions! We ordered some very good burgers and fries at the cafe. A really fun place and I would definitely go back, but think through how I purchase the attractions.

We arrived for some family fun! (4 adults 2 younger children) We had an awesome time playing mini putt. The place was super clean. A little on the expensive side ($68 for 4 adults and 2 kids), but we had a great time with lots of laughs so it was worth it. Will definitely go again. The only thing I think would be great to add is some music throughout the mini putt course.

My family usually visits here at least once a summer.

Really nice 18 hole mini putt course, batting cages, rock climbing wall, bumper cars, and jewel mining.

They have a snack bar with lots of options including ice cream, hamburgers, hotdogs, adult beverages and some vending machines around for beverages as well.

Short walk or drive to the beach boardwalk, hutch’s and lakeside go karts. A really good way to have fun with the family.

We went with 2 grandkids, 7 and 9 years old. Adventure Village is the right size for a few hours. The attendants are friendly and professional. The rides are well organized and fun with generous time limits. For grandparents there are plenty of shady areas. The price is right, too. Highly recommended.
