We met up at the Courtyard of the Royal Connought Hotel with Graham our tour guide and a group of about 25 total. Whole tour took approx 1.5 hours. We walked and Graham told us ghost stories about hotel, the old Capital Theatre, Gore Park, alleyway with a link to Jack the Ripper, The Right House, Hamilton Place, City Hall.Whitehern, St. Paul's Church and the Pigott Tower (I believe that was all noted places). Very fun and informative for anyone with an interest in old tales of the city. Bonus was the beautiful evening weather. Check them out!

The walk was good. The guide was an excellent storyteller and kept the walk amusing. However, the walk was roughly 55 minutes, not 80 minutes as stated on the tickets and by the staff. We explored 4 sections of the mansion: old home entrance, the hallway of the second floor, the temple and then back to the front at the circular ceiling room. I also found that we were talking about other part of hamilton, such as the Auchmar house, dundurn castle, Century manor, which took away a little from the scottish rite. Looking forward to exploring other ghostwalks.

Happy to hear you enjoyed the walk. Not sure what happened with the timing. Seemed like the 10p tour was quick that night. Sorry about that. Before you book, contact me at info@ghostwalks.com and I'll provide a discount on a future walk.

Hard to believe but I have now participated in more than 10 ghost walks and tours over the years from Halifax to Toronto. The Hamilton Bus Tour was my favourite for several reasons 1) by being able to cover a wider area you can hit the more interesting stories. 2) the stops were very well researched and there were photos shown as we traveled to the different stops to help round out the experience. 3) with the bus it's a comfortable ride where you can still walk out to the individual stops.

I wish every city could offer this option to round out their offerings.

The Hamilton Ghost walk is a fun and really informative time. Daniel knows his history, the obscure things that most of the audience did not know, and is a terrific orator. All the staff have a real passion for what they do and that makes the tour fun. For anyone who is visiting and wants to learn a bit about the City's history or long time residents like myself there is always something to learn. It's inexpensive and great entertainment.

We like taking Ghost Walks at varies cities and learning more about a particular building, area and people. The Scottish Rite is a Masonic Lodge in Hamilton, Ontario and the Masonic Cathedral is the largest in Canada. The original home of the influential Tuckett family that lived here for three generations. The tour is approximately an hour long, it's generally not open for the public and reserve a date that fits your needs. The cost is $17.00 CAD and worth the interesting tour of the mansion with many rooms, halls and staircases.

After a previous disappointing walk, Dan went the extra mile and booked us on this tour. It was a lot of fun, very spooky and it was definitely the creepiest place we had been in Hamilton to date. Go on this tour before it ends indefinitely, because it's basement and attic alone are worth seeing and hearing their histories. It lasted an hour and a half, which I think is more than enough time because we were getting spooked.

Although the price was a little much for the short time you are on this tour, we did get a little fright! While our guide was directing people into the dungeon area another couple besides us heard a stick hit the ground...when we gave the stick to the guide he did not know where it had come from...ghosts doing renos or just someone trying to freak us out...you decide. The building is rich in history, style and stories. It was a fun night out.
