Every time I visit Buttermilk Falls, which is at all times of the year, there is not too much water falling. I guess I have to time my visit after a heavy rainfall. I can only guess how majestic it would be to see all the water plunging down 20 meters below.
The trail leading up to Buttermilk is nice and one can get a good view of the valley. I especially love to hike this area in the fall.

Easy access from the parking lot, shoet walk and a great view of the cascading falls There were some helpful parks staff present as well who gave extremely knowledgeable directions. Beautiful view.

We decided to find the best place to take a picture. That was fun.
We took our time and we found the best place to see the Buttermilk Falls.
It was amazing!
We stood there, enjoying the view. Wow!
A must see!

not much water at this falls in November. So I wasn't too impressed!! I'm sure it is beautiful when more water is going over. Still worth seeing tho since there are 2 waterfalls so close together.

A bit difficult to find. There is no sign on the road and you have to veer off the path to catch a glimpse. While there wasn't as much water as there would be in spring, it still formed a veil and several waterfalls down the deep cliff. Sort of magical.
