We were a group of four and had a blast working our way through the challenges of this escape room. Fewer people might make the time constraint more of an issue, and more people might be many crowded in a small space. The Coroner’s Report was a great balance of fun and effort and an awesome opportunity to work together as a team to solve the mystery. The Coroner’s Report is considered “horror” but it’s not gruesome, it’s more of a creepy/silly gore. The live component added an extra dimension that definitely contributed to the overall enjoyment. Thank you Grace for making the experience so memorable! P.S. We “escaped” with eight minutes to spare!

One suggestion I have for the Improbable Escapes team is to make use of the beautiful brickwork in your downtown location to create a photo op wall for the “We Escaped!” Group pics! (The lighting downstairs isn’t great for photos)

We went for a team building exercise and it was great. The escape experience really promotes collaboration, teamwork with a sense of urgency that has to be calmed with patience and analytical thinking. The staff are great and the rooms are challenging. If you can go, you should!

Great fun, not for the faint hearted and the clues did take a lot of working out. We were a group of 3 and luckily we all had different strengths and even now I don’t understand how some of the puzzles were solved. It was a little scary and yes i did scream at one point. We went a little over our time but glad we were allowed to finish.

We wanted to do something fun with our son this summer. My wife had been here with her class during the school year (she is a teacher) and she thought we'd enjoy it.

I didn't know what to expect.
As a 43 year old dad, I thought this might be kind of a "young" activity and maybe a bit silly for a grown man to do, but I went to enjoy the time with my wife and son.

I was wrong, it was really fun and way, way more challenging than I thought. Highly recommended especially if you pride yourself on being a problem solver....

We brought my nephew and a friend of my son's, so we had five in total, and I am glad we did as one or more of the challenges would have been tough without extra hands.

We did the Zombie room, and it was fantastic. Not that scary, although if you have kids who are not fond of those dummies you see in Halloween stores, maybe not for you, Iol.
I won't spoil anything, but I do recommend that if you have more than three people, its best for someone to take the lead and to assign different tasks to different people or partners-groups. Otherwise confusion can ensue and will cost you time, too many people working on the same challenge is not always a better idea.

As I said, we highly recommend this activity in Kingston, and the staff were very cool as well. (A shout out to Liz, she was great and very cheerful and helpful!) It was neat to see they are open right into the wee hours, what a fun downtown evening activity!

Put this one on your list of things to do in Kingston for sure. I plan to return for sure.

Oh and if you are a fan of those silly "Evil Dead" movies and "Army of Darkness" like I am, they have a couple replicas of the "Necronimcon"...the Book Of The Dead. It was funny to see one in real life, neat prop!
Remember If you hold it and say "the words" make sure to say them right, ha ha ha (inside joke for Evil Dead-Army of Darkness fans)

After reading a good deal about the popularity of escape rooms in recent years, we finally took the plunge as part our Kingston 72 hour ‘K’ pass - I’d say it’s a must if you’re dropping into Kingston for the 1000 islands tour. ‘Cure for the Common Zombie’ certainly surpassed all our expectations and if we had more time in Kingston before leaving for Ottawa, our family of three would definitely have had a crack at a second experience. There were actually four rooms in total, each with a number of different puzzles of varying difficulty. The staging and mock ups were excellent once through the first door with some very nice touches and on a budget that would put Channel 4’s Crystal Maze to shame! I would love to give spoilers but won’t; I’d just say read any written instructions given during the task very, very carefully.
A final thanks to Megan and the rest of the team who looked after us on the day and gave us beginners the occasional pointer and the extra time needed to finally escape.

We went to improbable escapes as a family outing. We didn't know what to expect but boy were we surprised at how much fun we had. The Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They explained everything to us beforehand then locked us in the room to begin. Clues were of various degrees to figure out. Some were east and some extremely hard. We could ring a bell, for addition clues from staff to help us along the way. We ended up just missing by 2 minutes to complete the escape room. When our time was up, staff gave us a few extra minutes to complete the escape. My kids were 15 and 17 at the time and they had a blast. Well worth doing.. Extremely pleased at this fun family day.

The introduction to those who have never done an escape room could have been more helpful. Parts of the game room needed repair and hindered solutions. For the price, we thought the puzzles looked very "homemade". Introduced us to a whole new game world in real time and that was fun.

Group of well educated people, 8 is lots for the size of the rooms and was very warm, clues were achievable and no-one had done this before so we got out with little time remaining and used one clue, did find out after that only 25% make it out of this particular adventure so we were a little happier with our results

My family has done this over 4 times per member (7 in my family). We love doing it together, and with our friends. Highly recommended. The one outside was quite a bit of fun. Great on a nice day.
