The canal rides are comfortable and well managed. All the boats run on non polluting fuels. The morning and evening trip yields the character of the town and its people. i would recommend rides during the setting sun... and then heading to a local joint...More

It's a great place to picnic and explore. All ages will enjoy seeing the lock and lift cycle. A bit of stair climbing involved for those that want to see more.

As suggested, it's the gates that create the falls. May be that's why the name falls. But i too do not know of actual fall. There is plenty of information available on their official website, you may want to check..
