Good afternoon trip

We went on the 3 hour trip without lunch. This is on the traditional steamer. There was a good commentary on places of interest on the waterfront and about the islands. The... read more

In winter time the tour of the 1000 island is closed, so the time to visit is in summer time for sure.

If you are looking for something to do when traveling between Niagara Falls and Toronto, a stop in Kingston is a worthwhile endeavor. We took the 90 minute Island Belle cruise. Very interesting. There is a lot of history in the 1,000 Islands area. A bit breezy on the open deck, even in July. Bundle up or sit down below... More

Amazing place to take pictures from beautiful houses to castles. Make sure to bring your passport to this journey.

As a Kingston area resident I have taken family and friends on 1000 Island cruises when they visit. If your idea is sightseeing then I fully urge you to take the 31/2 hour cruise from Gananoque Cruise Lines. Beautiful scenery, fantastic properties, and a narrative from the Captain. Great value, food and beverages available. If you are not a Canadian... More

I have done the Sunset Cruise on numerous occasions and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is reasonably priced, and you are entertained throughout. It offers a unique view of both Kingston and the Thousand Islands. The food is good and the on board entertainment is of high quality. This can be a very romantic voyage. I would recommend the Sunset Cruise... More

Take this 3 hour cruise option with the castle visit but make sure to pack a passport as the castle is in the United STATES. Don't forget to pack your camera for some stunning views.

We went on the 3 hour trip without lunch. This is on the traditional steamer. There was a good commentary on places of interest on the waterfront and about the islands. The journey down river to get to the islands was about 30 mins and the same coming back. I think if you want a shorter trip then best to... More

We had some time to spend in Kingston on our way to Toronto so after a lovely lunch in the town & a walk around the shore, we went on this lake cruise. Island Belle was our cruise boat. Well now it was pretty rough at times & with the spray from the waves we hit, we had to hold... More

Had a good time on a sunny October day. Very nice views during the cruise of beautiful cottages and Boldt Castle. I did the 2.5 hour cruise and it was just the right length. Fall colours very pretty at this time of year.
