If you remember the olden days of theatres when they were small the snack bar not complicated and good seating then you will love this place. I often go to this theatre downtown Kingston, very well located so that you can have dinner either before or after your movie. The theatre has two viewing rooms and there is no bad... More

The staff are fantastic. There isn't a lot of seating, but it makes for a cozy experience. There show a lot of indie and unique films. I highly recommend seeing Rocky Horror Picture Show when it plays, usually in October. It's great if you get a crowd that knows the call-backs!

Found this gem during my walkbtron in Kingston. Brief discussions with fellow movie goers added to the @. Hail Caesar got me think,n. Exploration of the whole real vs film conundrum and the blur aspect .... Costume( Roman) moves beyond the set ++ into the reality for one of the leads . Lol!!! Dialogue / dynamic was great especially the... More

Went in the other day to see "45". The afternoon showing was at a good time, the coffee was served in real cups, and the theatre was not crowded so I had space to see over heads. The seats are well used and a bit wonky but the price is right and the film selection is brilliant. We like going... More

So glad this place exists! Great place to see films that the big guys ignore as well as the best first run movies that can be held over if there is a demand. Reasonable prices, good coffee, not a bad seat in the house (2 screens). Look forward to their e-newsletter every week! Worth getting there 20 minutes early or... More

Honestly I wish I could go here more often. The selection of movies is always on point, every seat is great, the staff are friendly, and it is locally owned. The concessions are reasonably priced and you can order tea...in a real mug.

I always eagerly await their newsletter each week to see what cinematic joy they will bring to Kingston. We go there more than we go to the other two larger cinemas combined. At least twice a month to enjoy Canadian, foreign and artistic movies that are hard to find anywhere else.

Love the small theater. Also like the fact that they show movies that are not shown at the big movie chains.
