The Cat Center, is a nice mall that has a good variety of shops. The Target Closed down but it still has everything you would need to find in a mall. the Food Court has been remodeled and the shoppers drug is nice. all in all the facilities were clean and the merchants in the shops i went in were pretty friendly.. it was a nice way to spend a rainy afternoon....Happy Travels!!!

We visited the Cataraqui Centre and found that it was your average everyday mall. There was nothing special about it. The mall needs a grocery store and theatre. The food court is ok.

This is not a very large mall. It does have some basic national chain stores including Hudsons Bay. If you are looking for basic you will find it here. No specialty shops. And we only saw a food court -- no restaurants -- but we might have missed them.

This mall has sketchy practices! My daughter was gifted a mall gift card and although it is against the law to charge service fees on gift cards this mall does and will not answer questions or help when asked about it. Do not buy the mall gift cards and save yourself and the recipient the upset of them charging $2.50 per month after 15 months after activation. Same on you Cataraqui Centre - most people buy these cards for young people and my 14 year old was saving for a larger item to only find out you have been charging a service fee on the GIFT card!

Ricki’s says no sales is ever final… They’re lying. I went to exchange a pair of jeans that I bought a week and a half ago and unworn because they are too big. I have the receipt but they would not allow me to return them without the tags as well. Very annoying. I would not recommend shopping here.

Very Nice mall in Kingston, Ontario Canada but Buyer beware some stores Like as seen on TV will sell you good but fail to tell you if you are not satisfied with your purchase you can not return merchandise for full refund. We were here from visiting from Calgary, Alberta Canada and purchased a knife sharpener for $20 and tried it and it failed to work and tried to return it to the store three days later and was told no refund on any of the merchandiser only exchange. Lesson Learned!
This little shop and it's employee give the mall a bad name, if you don't read the fine print on the receipt you would never know until it is too late.

If malls are your thing, this has the basics, which is good or bad depending on what you want. You will feel like you are nowhere in particular, so if you want to feel like you are in Kingston, head downtown. The shops are better and more eclectic.

This is a typical mall in a Canadian city. A good variety of stores and places to eat. It is a regional mall serving Kingston and area so it is quite large. If you are visiting Kingston it is worth the stop just to see what stores are available. If you are from a large urban canter than this is nothing special. The mall is clean and washrooms are readily available.

A few of us stopped by this mall on the outskirts of Kingston. It is a really nice, clean and modern (and upscale!) mall with many of the comforts of the major malls back home. The food court is really large and nicely arranged, too. It was also fun shopping here because of the 30% exchange rate that Americans can get, so prices were pretty low. I enjoyed my time spent here in this mall. Try it.

The Cataraqui Centre is just an ordinary mall--but if you like malls, it is almost the only game in town, at least the only one of any substantial size.
It consists of two storeys. You will find the usual chain stores, anchored at each end by Sears and the Hudson's Bay Store, plus a food court. The place is not usually crowded (except at Christmas), and the parking is usually adequate.
For visitors to Kingston, the Cataraqui Centre is considerably outside the downtown hub, but reasonably easy to get to.
If you want to buy unusual, unique items, from owner-operated businesses, shop in Kingston's downtown core. If you want generic clothes, household items, toiletries, and fast food of the kinds that are available in any suburb anywhere in Canada, the Cataraqui Centre is the best place to go in Kingston.
