I thought I would drop in ( since I live here ) to Kingston's Original Hockey Hall of Fame and sadly I was disappointed with things. No one was around ( 2:00pm ish ), some of the monitors weren't working, the Don Cherry's interactive exhibit wasn't working.

Now saying that the place did have some nice collection and information as the photos show.

Maybe they should start thinking of charging an entrance fee instead of a free donation fee so they can have these none working things working and a guide.

Located on the 2nd floor of the Invista centre you will find a very small hockey hall of fame museum. It offers only a handful of attractions.

World's oldest hockey puck was cool. It was square. Does not take long to go through though as it was smaller than we thought. Still neat place to visit for any hockey fan. Only costs whatever donation you want to give.

There is a lot of really cool hockey history items but not a museum you would expect. Located in a hockey arena and in a small area. If you are in the area and a hockey fan I would say to go but it is very small and is not a "destination" exhibit where you can spend hours there. Still some really cool artifacts and history.

My husband is a hockey and baseball crazy, He wanted to see this Hockey Hall of Fame as it was the original one. It was rather small compared to the Toronto Hockey hall of Fame but touring it impresses the contributions Kingston has made to hockey. Donations welcomed.

Entrance is by donation. small but informative and had interesting items inside such as the worlds oldest puck. It is clean but just tone down that volume of the TV by the entrance it can become quite annoying.

We arrived here hoping to see a lot of hockey history, but unbeknownst to us the hall of fame was closed the entire week we were there, for renovations. Darn.

The Kingston area has certainly contributed to hockey in Canada and this 'museum' shows it. Also some very good displays about the history of hockey in general.

This is a place all should see especially those of us who love hockey. But it will give all a sense of the culture and loved game of Canadians.
