Highly recommend! Friendly staff, calming spa environment, great service. It was very relaxing. Had a body massage and face treatment. Everyone was done in one room. The spa waiting room has a beautiful view and quiet. Will go back for more treatments.

We love to pamper that is this spa's motto and they certainly walk the talk! This hidden gem located on the shores of the Cataraqui River-Rideau Canal with water front access and a view of the Thousand Islands-Rideau Canal. Dolce Bella is situated in the old brick historic Woolen Mill-- this spa is like no other that I have visited and I have been to a number of them. Free parking and accessible ramp will bring you into a beautiful naturally lit heritage facility where old meets new. Greeted by a warm smiling receptionist, she immediately asked me if I wanted something to drink. A wide selection of teas, coffee, juice or water. I had an herbal peach tea served in china cups on a platter! What a way to start the day. Whisked away to the back a change room with luxurious robes and wraps, I was able to utilize lockers for my belongings. This is a unique feature as I have not seen that in many spas. First treatment was a facial. This started with a back massage, yes, back massage, the aesthetician said that their research showed that a back massage will expedite the relaxation process. This was great surprise. The facial itself was the best facial I have experienced. I live in Ottawa and would drive the 2 hours to Kingston just to have that experience again. The aesthetician asked pertinent questions and adjusted the product lines that suited my needs. Excellent Phytomer products. It is important to fill out the questionnaire that you are provided at reception. The little extras that are given in this facial are truly what makes it very unique--from hand and arm massage to leg massage, hot towels for your feet. From the facial I was taken off to the next service of a one-hour massage. This experience was fabulous as well the aesthetician utilized some unique and new techniques that I had not experienced before. A fantastic massage that was quiet, peaceful and very, very well done. Relaxed to pudding after two hours, lunch was served in a beautiful quiet lounge area where wicker tables and chairs keep the genuine relaxed mode alive. A nice reminder to please have cell phones on silent was a wonderful courtesy. I can say for certainty that I did not hear any other conversation or noises from other rooms. I felt as though the place was mine. I was sad to know that my visit would soon be over. After lunch, I returned to the front of the spa area, I had a beautiful manicure complete with a paraffin treatment. The same aesthetician also did my pedicure. She was amazing as well and asked me if wanted something to drink, again the care and concern shown here is bar none. The pedicure was done in the private area of where the facial was done. It was so nice to be able to relax and take advantage of the state-of-the art chair. My last but not but not least service was a shampoo and blow dry to bring me back to some form of resemblance! I had the privilege of meeting the owner, Andy Boyd, a professional, very likeable man whose standards are impeccably high-- his care and concern for his clients are evident to me and is also reflective of the staff that he employs.

my experience was unfortunately emotionally unsatisfying. I booked with this spa because I believed it to be top of the line service and the dollar definitely accounts for that, however this was not my experience. I came out with roughly 7 small sores scattered around my scalp from the product and my neck was bruised from the hair washing station. I explained the fragility of my hair and how it breaks easily due to a previous hair experience and the hairdresser still used a harsh comb and was rougher then I feel she should have been when combing my hair,I was sitting wishing she would stop because I could see all the hair she was breaking and it made me disappointed.
Yes tea was offered but this experience did not feel "magical, relaxing, or wonderful" like so many of the other people have experienced.

Although the location is nice and the staff friendly I found the basic facial treatment very compact. I can live with that and also a subtle product placing during the treatment is ok. However I was under the impression it was a non stop sales pitch for their product line and even a pillow was for sale. Not the experience I expected.

Dear Aksiram Yes the basic facial is very basic and is really only meant as a refresher facial. Guests are normally directed to the more advanced facials as they have so much more available in them, as well they are 30 minutes longer in time. Please, when you have a moment, take a look on our website under facials. Our goal here at Dolce Bella Spa is not just to give you a spa experience, but to help you with home care that can address any concerns with your skin. Home care is very important in your skin care regime in order to see lasting results and have products that work for you. No guess work at the drug store. We feel that is our staffs professorial responsibly to recommend home care as part of every professional facial treatment. I would love you to receive one of our advanced Facial on us so you can see the difference. Please contact me at andyboyd@dolcebellaspa.com for me to book your appointment! Have a wonderful day!

As part of an overnight trip to Kingston I organized four of us for one afternoon. Were all accommodated within the same time frame. The spa looks lovely and is in a quaint location. I had the mango cocoon body wrap and really enjoyed it. The spa therapist was good and knew what she was doing. The only disappointment was the shower post scrub. Its highly promoted as an add on service and its like little water guns shooting at you and the shower heads point to a corner so you have to stand in the corner to wipe everything down. This really needs to be changed in my opinion.

Two other friends had treatments with the tub and again poor reviews - the tub was cool water for one of them and the other said the jets were so loud it startled her. Massages and wraps that accompanied the treatments were enjoyed.

I want to thank Erik at the front desk for helping me in organizing this.

ps do your due diligence : ask for an RMT upfront and get in email if needed. Also wayspa.com is always offering 20% off gift cards and they accept them - take advantage.

I've visited several spas in Kingston and never been overly impressed. Along my travels I've had the fortune to have some fantastic spa experiences but had not found on in my home town.
The setting in beautiful. In the old woolen mill building. Right on the water. The front desk staff were welcoming and professional.
I had the 90 minute massage. The therapist was excellent. By far the best massage I've had in Kingston.
Pricing was in line with all the other spas. Great atmosphere.

Massage therapist was amazing. My one disappointment was that I could not use my WaySpa gift card. Something about RMT's. I had used them before as my son likes to give them to me as gifts but in future I will have to use them elsewhere.

This was my first visit at this facility and my first time using the hydrotherapy tub. I rarely get a massage due to time constraints. So happy I indulged this time around. This spa is located in a great location, by the water with ample parking (always a bonus in Kingston!).

Staff: friendly, helpful, courteous.
RMT: Ashley was attentive and responsive to areas of need that required more/less.
Hydrotherapy: I purchased the Dolce Bella massage which includes a 20-min soak in the hydrotherapy tub followed by 70mins of RMT treatment. I loved the rub experience, was calming amidst the dim-lit ambiance.
Facility: clean and spacious.

Overall, very happy with my time there, and look forward to another massage and perhaps other services offered on the menu there. Also thinking about a nice girlfriend get together. My new mantra today is that wellness is a necessity and not an indulgence. haha

To start off, this spa is beautiful inside. For my wife's birthday we decided to have a couples massage on Friday July 14th at 10am with the package that allows for the gourmet lunch. The hour long massage was fantastic, we are both super relaxed. After our massage we were taken to the lounge for a great gourmet lunch. My wife had the grilled chicken wrap which had a little bite but was exploding with flavor. I had the steak which was amazing as well. I would highly recommend this spa to anyone, no doubt you will be very relaxed. 5/5 for sure on service, food and atmosphere!!
