We've taken in several events at the Aeolian. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The venue is superb. For small concerts it's a great place to be. Cocktail lounge seating below gives you a personal experience with their acts. You have to see a show there!

We went here to hear Martin Barre known for his work as guitarist with Jethro Tull for many years. Martin and the accompanying band mates put on a fantastic show with some new music and familiar songs from Tull years and even a Beatles tune. The band was tight and each played their instruments expertly. Loved the humour thrown into... More

I had the pleasure of seeing Elliott Brood and Great Lakes Swimmers at Aeolian Hall last December. The sound was great, there was space to get up and dance at the front of the stage, and you could even get a cold drink in between sets. The people who worked there were a pleasure, from picking up tickets to the... More

We always enjoy seeing the performances in this quaint hall. Only problem, is that they don't provide pre-arranged seating for all the shows. We are not going to book a date without knowing where we're going to sit. This is a bad policy that needs changing.

The Aeolian Hall has over a century of history, having been a town hall, London's first public library, and many others!) The hall does theatre as well as concerts, and a gambit of other public performances. Very KEWL is that it is run by volunteers, for door, seating, tickets, bar etc.!!! They even offer a ticket level that allows you... More

I want to like Aeolian Hall a lot. It's a small (300 +/- seat) venue that brings in a good mix of live music and does good things in the community. My problem is that, as a venue for music, it has terrible acoustics. Every surface is hard and the upper reaches of the room are filled with a maze... More

This was the first time my husband and myself went to this hall. It is very old and unchanged with plenty of history. The concert we went to see was "Take It Easy" a tribute to the Eagles. The music was amazing and the 5 guys in the band were entertaining with stories of the Eagles as well as very... More

It's a intimate, historic venue, I was super excited to be able to see my fave band here :) However, this time I actually left before the show began. The venue is manned by local volunteers, many of whom are happy to share in their enthusiasm for the community (and it shows!) but others lack professional courtesy and can be... More

Great orchestra with a male and female singers, a wonderful repertoire of music and believe it or not, music you could dance to from the forties and fifties. Looking forward to December 2016. Very helpful wait staff. All in all a great evening and inexpensive for what we got. You won't be disappointed.

Have taken in a couple of concerts here. This is a perfect venue for that intimate concert setting. A little bar that serves drinks that you can sip on while watching the concert.
