Went to the ski/snowboard swap this year. I was in the last time slot so expectedly it was picked over. But I found one board that seemed to be ok. But they were hiding it had a crack in it, the whole width of the board. The board had no sticker or warning it was cracked and they hid it by placing the sticker on the bottom of the board so it was upside down and you couldn't see it. One of the other customers told me that he found it had a crack in it and that no one told him. I went and told a staff member who had been watching me look at the board and he said "ya I know it's cracked." He told me they were selling it for only the bindings yet he only told me after I found the crack. He knew and wasn't telling me to sell another board. Also, the bindings were in terrible condition and about 20 years old and not worth anything. Their website says "Our certified technicians will inspect the equipment to make sure it is current and safe." Yet they sell broken snowboards that aren't safe. The rest of the stuff was brand new and was pretty expensive one of the snowboarding boots were being sold for 300 yet I can buy them new for 225 new after tax at other stores. Will most likely be better if you get an early time slot. Disappointing.

While the Treetop Adventure course is a very fun and challenging ropes course, however the very young staff is either severely short-staffed or not appropriately supervised as most of the stations were vacant. We noticed several of the obstacles and games, including the children’s and family courses, had no staff monitoring action games where people could get stuck or confused about how to proceed.

At one point my 10 year-old daughter got stuck halfway between platforms on a skateboard-type trolley, and there was no staff person monitoring the area (she had left her backpack there but wandered off for 15 minutes). I shouted loudly for help from staff several times with no response as I backtracked the course to the nearest ladder. After several minutes I was able to make my way down to pull my daughter to the next platform using a rope that I’m assuming is there for staff to help people who get stuck. I complained to the staffer when she finally returned, but she insisted that she had no responsibility to monitor that station, that my daughter’s body weight should have been enough for her to make it across the game, and that the rope wasn’t necessary for pulling people across.

The only requirement for the full adventure course is only that participants be able to reach 5’11”. My daughter can reach 6’2”, but only weighs 75 pounds, making it difficult for her to fully complete some of the action games that rely upon body mass for momentum. The guide wire for the action game she was stuck on was far higher than 5’11”; perhaps Boler should consider raising their minimum reach or instituting a minimum weight.

In any case, this wouldn’t be an issue if there was adequate staff monitoring each station, or at least staff listening for anguished cries for help from panicking parents or children. I caution anyone who is at all anxious about trying this course or worried about their kids to stay away until Boler solves their staffing issues.

We went a did the tree top adventure. The staff and facility was great, we had a good time, only thing is they have changed the harness as a female it was very uncomfortable and at times painful between the legs, my husband was in great pain. We did not experience the first time we went many years ago, when i mentioned something to the staff they said they are newer harnesses and that many people have complained about them. Looking at old pictures, the new ones have straps that come up the side of your groin, not comfortable at all for ziplining. So be prepared for some discomfort if you go. That was my only complaint. Would have been 5 star otherwise

So fun! and great exercise.
Was a little worried because of all the waivers, giving up legal rights to sue etc, but seeing their equipment and measures, I felt more and more safe going through the activities.
Treetop Adventure + Big zip for $60 after tax wasn't cheap but I think was worth it, would go again.

Absolutely incredible first time trying the Family zip line course. My 8 year old son and I could t stop smiling. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful at every turn. The course is challenging but perfect for an adventurous kid. The final “Big Zip” is an amazing way to finish the day. We will be back!!

We got to the top and through the line to our turn, we’re told to go to the 4th line because that was where the double riders were to go , so we go back to the end of the line. There was NOTHING anywhere saying this (we looked and checked when going back up and when I asked a worker said that is the way it is- but how are you to know?) We get back up and once we are in the line double line we are then told it is too fast and only single riders allowed. We had a melt down with one child and they finally did allow them to ride double, due to challenges they have the adult was instructed to drag their feet to slow down. however the double line changing to single rides doubled the amount of time it took to get to the front as we couldn’t go back to the end all lines where full and there was no room to go back to another line. We got 2 rides in one hour due to the issues. When we were on our last run - the hills were very fast, they then changed it so double riders could go in any line!!!

Tree top trekking is definetly a work-out using different muscles that will be sore the next day. I myself struggled my bf and the teo 13 yr old boys we brought ran through the courses, making me feel like I had to so I was so out of breath and nervous, you definetly need to hang on to the wire up top rather then just the harness you have on you attached to the wire, since I struggled so much I only did the first course and the zipline course which was super fun. Be prepared for a work-out and definetly dont try to keep up to 12 year olds!!!

Had an absolute blast skiing tonight, I haven't been in over a decade and this was the perfect place to start. Great runs and close to my house. Thanks for a great night and helping me get my ski legs back! I'll be back soon.😁
