Stunning site. Immaculately maintained. Make sure you check to see when it’s open as we went on a Friday afternoon and all doors were locked. There’s a lot of homeless people downtown so I understand why. Beautiful grounds and building exterior.

I enjoy just spending time in the cathedral it is peaceful & loving, though I am Muslim. One of the oldest heritage buildings with lovely grounds and wonderful people caring for the place of worship. I live in London and see it always.

This magnificent cathedral basilica is just across Victoria Park from where I'm staying. It's hard to imagine living long-term so close to a wonder such as this. It's been so easy to capture it in many kinds of light. Like others, this numinous structure showcases the amazing diversity of artistic expression at its best. Being Catholic, the doors are open all day long, inviting any to enter. While photographing the interior, a most pleasing breeze was blowing down the center aisle. So many other churches which stay in lock down most of the time could learn much from the Catholics about hospitality. I invariably find Catholic churches open and quite amenable to my photographic work.
Make sure to sit down and have a time of quiet. Its a place made in Heaven, to think about Heaven

I like to sit and relax at the church grounds.
Is a lovely refuge from work.
Is close to all activities downtown.
Unfortunately the buses all congregate here...is like a bus station.

We happened upon this beautiful Catholic Cathedral while walking around downtown. We entered and marveled at the stunning interior. Every aspect was perfect and meticulously maintained. Peaceful and serene. Worth a visit and time for prayer or reflection.

There are not enough words to express my true feeling in describing this Cathedral. It's one of the most beautiful, in which, we have ever been. My wife and I sat off to side and it took us a long time before we were ready to go. No matter who you are, this is a place for everyone to visit.

Our family toured the Basilica in London two years ago. My wife and I enjoyed the pretty architecture as well as the beautiful ecclesiastical decor - gilded ceilings, stained glass windows, ornate woodwork. Our kids, who were 8, 7, and 6 at the time, couldn't wait to leave.

This Cathedral Basilica is a good place to visit and perhaps attend a service or receive a sacrament. Even tough it is the largest in London Ontario when compared to Cathedrals and Churches in Europe, it pales in comparison.

This is a beautiful church. If you get the chance to visit when it is not having Mass, to look around at all the details. It is worth arriving earlier to do so.

What a beautiful piece of architecture. We stayed for Weekly mass with such a spiritual message but found myself gaulking around at the beauty inside. Met lots of friendly people from all over and left feeling very uplifted.

Well, I think general respect and being quiet is expected. Do not use a FLASH. IF you see people in a mass, even if small - you should restrict photos -maybe just a couple at a side alter.
If people are in prayer -again avoid taking photo near anyone and if you can, be seated and subtly take photos -NO FLASH.
DO NOT stand on an the Altar Step, or Block the alter view while people are in prayer.
Sometimes taking a short video taken subtly can cover a lot without creating too much distraction.
Quiet respect goes a long way! :-)
