I read about this place right at London's airport. Though it does not have many aircraft about 6, plus engines and other aircraft memorabilia it is well worth a visit. You are shown around by Ken a volunteer who is full of passion and knowledge having flown many of the aircraft on show. We spent about an hour looking at the exhibits and the entry fee is by donation. Easy to find and close to the radar museum which we did not have time to see so you could get two visits in one if you wanted. There are many pictures and drawings on the walls including the Avro Arrow. Young boys would love this place. There is a small gift shop on the premises also. …

i was very impressed with the drawings of all the historic jets including the drawings of the Avro Arrow. That was a wow to see after all everthing was suppossed to be destroyed

Thanks to Ken i have a wonderfull experience at THE :-) Jet Aircraft museum. I had a visit time of almost 4 hours. What a knowledge and experience he spread. Ken must be thirsty when he was finished my tour. Come by get a tour and buy something in the Shop. @Ken’s wife (i hope you read above with a smile on your face) …
