In need of some TLC
Aug. 2019 • Family
A family of 5, 2 adults, 3 children ages 10 and 8 visited for approximately $200 for 2 hours. It was a lot of fun. The games were fun and they all were in good working order.

I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the establishment. The washrooms were awful. Multiple sinks and toilets were out of order, very grimy and dirty. Latches for the doors didn’t work on stalls. Left a lot to be desired.

The dining area was very messy, food and garbage on the floors and dirty tables.

Staff was notified about the washrooms but they remained in the same state when we left. I think much of the washroom issues are management/owner issues as staff cannot make the repairs necessary.

Nice for small group

The go karting was great, especially on a Tuesday. It was like 2 bucks a run. It would've been even better if we could race each other

Great place however.......
Aug. 2019
Being from the UK this was a great palce for my nephew to come with me so we can spend time together. Go Karting was great, the baseball cage is good as well however opening times would be best to be displayed so its clear it is from 12pm.

The arcades are good as well expecially the virtal games.

Room for improvement
- The network was done for a while today (20.08.19) so this meant we waited for a long time not being able to do much and there was no annoucement or staff where not actually advising anyone on this. Upon leaving my cousin asked and they said when this would come back and they said it already has. We went back in and then out again and after 20 more minutes the games where back on.
I appreciate there are technical difficulties however this should of been advised to everyone especially new people coming in as kids could be seen excited to come in only to be very disappointed that they could not play on teh games for a while.

- The food could be improved, not the best variety and maybe more healthy optins and certainly more vegetarian options.

- the virtual game (Gigamon - i think) should have advise to parents that it is graphic and may not be suitable for young children as the game was stopped a third of the way through du to a kid crying. i must say the effects are great however even i though this was slighlty scary.

- staff in gerneal could smile more as basic customer service. not much enthusiaum from the staff.

Summer 2019 - Batting Cages
Jul. 2019
Purchased a 3 month pass for the batting cages for my son to get some practice. It's not usually too busy so that's good BUT the main reason i went there rather than the Centennial Park batting cages was for rainy days (ie. when practises are canceled for example). Here is the problem, when it rains, the batting cages are closed b/c there are some leaks in that dome. Not happy about that...other than that issue, it's pretty good.

Still a fun arcade. Beside the stores and restaurants, but this place never gets old. Great for older children to have a party.

Great fun for the whole family!

A place where adults and children can have fun. There are rides that not all kids can do due to size allowing for adults to be kids again. Wall climbing, go karts, batting cages and a ton of arcade games new and old styles. Something for everyone. Indoor and outdoor activities. Food is decent. Overall experience a good time. Can get very busy mid afternoon.

Fun aracde based amusement centre in Mississauga Canada
May 2019 • Family
Overall, Playdium Mississauga operates on a card stored value system which you purchase at front door before entering. Each credit worth 0.25, but more bonus credits are given at $15 or more.
This place lots of shooting/racing/fighting arcade games costing around 6 credits ($1.50) to play, and tickets-redeeming mini games (which you can trade for prizes later on) that costs around 4 credits ($1) per play.
The 3D XD shooting game Dark Ride costs 20 credits to play (roughly $5), roaming through a city (like new york) and shooting down alien monsters on a rumbling chair, lasts about 4 minutes ride. Pretty fun and exciting. The laser maze challenge takes 16 credit, you physically stumble in a small laser-filled line room and try to make it out while touching minimum amount of lines.
$15 spent lasted me around an hour of play, although it could have lasted longer if I spent less on the big fancy attractions and more on the more common arcade games.

KIDS HAD FUN
Apr. 2019 • Family
Kids had fun and adults too especially the birthday bot. Wish they would give discounts or a free round of games to the celebrant though. Overall, price is reasonable and it was fun for all.

Not my cup of tea!!
Mar. 2019 • Family
I took my 7yr old there. It was crowded and dirty. I went hoping the bumper cars ride would be wow - but it was small and not the greatest. For the space they have - there was nothing wow to it.

My daughter enjoyed the bumper cars, it was her first time ever.

There was not much food options.

Overall I was not impressed with the options of games, the layout and the cleanliness.

Largest Video Game Playground in the Toronto Area
Jan. 2019 • Family
Playdium is a chain of family entertainment centres owned by Cineplex Entertainment. Its flagship location (3,700 square metres) opened in 1996 near Square One Shopping Centre in Mississauga. Highlights include video games, redemption (ticket) games, bumper cars, a simulator, batting cages, go-karts, and miniature golf. Budget 2-3 hours. My favourite attraction is “Star Wars: Battle Pod”, a 2014 arcade game based on the Star Wars franchise. Look for Playdium at 99 Rathburn Road West. It is open daily from 1:00 in the afternoon (10:00 in the morning Saturdays and Sundays) until 10:00 at night (midnight on Fridays and Saturdays). Play cards range in price from $25 to $50 and may be used on all attractions. Tickets you win may be redeemed for toys, jewelry, novelty items, and electronics. Consider purchasing a two-hour, power card for $30 if all you want is access to video games and the batting cages. Go-karting costs $5.53 a lap ($2.66 on Tuesdays and Thursdays) and mini-golf costs $8 per round ($4.00 on Tuesdays and Sundays). Note that a G2 license is required for the larger go-karts. Playdium has a bar/lounge (beer, wine, wings, nachos, burgers, pizza, hot dogs, etc.) and a concession stand (hot dogs, chicken tenders, pizza, poutine, burgers, popcorn, nachos, fries, hot drinks, soda, etc.). Parking is free.
