Quaint park close to Square One shopping mall. Great for those in condo's close to the mall. Nice location for a picnic along the water.

Yep a little dedicated slice to Mississauga's sister city in Japan Kariya, Kariya park reminds me of certain spots in Kariya Japan. With Cherry Blossoms donated by their sister city spring time is especially beautiful here.

As a photographer, I've shot Newlyweds as well as family photos here. It's so picturesque and beautiful. Calm and serene to just walk around in nature alone or beautifully picturesque when the cherry blossoms are in bloom. Highly recommend!

A beautifully landscaped and maintained park. Laid out in Japanese style. Mississauga is twinned w Kariya Japan. This park is testament to its mutual friendship. A favourite for photographers, weddings and graduating parties(who unfortunately leave behind their refuse) the park can be busy during the...More

I stopped in on my bike ride for a quick rest and some shade. It's a nice quaint little spot smack dab in the centre of Mississauga and very close to my home. It hosts a pond with lovely ducks and a beautiful garden.

This is a great place if you like to take amazing pictures for a wedding or your kids. If you just go for a walk and have a dog, choose another place, dogs are not allowed not even on a leash, this is bad for...More

This a great park to relax or spend time with friends or significant other. There are also cherry blossoms here so you can see them bloom during blooming season if you can't make it to High Park in Toronto. The park closes pretty early so...More

Quite busy and street parking was difficult on the weekend we went there for the Cherry Blossoms. The place is not that huge and the Cherry Blossom trees are few. What is sad about the place are some graffiti on the inside walls. It is...More

I got to know from someone that the initial bloom has just about started at Kariya Park. You can therefore plan to visit soon if you are around.

Kariya Park cherry blossoms bloomed later than High Park, Toronto. The blooming dates usually start around the week of May 12 and lasts about a week or two (if weather permits). The trees at the entrances tend to bloom... More
