You will just stand and stare at it amazed by the beauty and the power of the water. It is almost hypnotic. There is a lot of folklore about the Falls and the way it "calls to you". Once you are there....you will understand.

Must see if you traveling around Buffalo or Toronto. Horseshoe Falls is on Canadian side, view is breathtaking and I enjoyed it more than from other side.

Yes you can. Boats tour the falls from both the American (Niagara Falls) and Canadian (Horseshoe Falls). There are also some really nice outlooks on both sides and a walking tour that goes behind the falls.

You may get discounts from hotel or tour operators, best to avoid online purchase unless you see a discount or promotion

I say do everything you possibly can. It may be a once in a lifetime experience jam pack as much in as possible. I LOVED Niagara Falls. We stayed on Canadian side.
