We did Niagara's Fury with our three kids, ages 11, 9, and 7. All of us (including the kids) thought it was kind of silly. There's a 15 or so minute movie at the beginning that is a cartoon that is (sort of) about how the Falls were formed, but it doesn't really give you the details and cuts off... More

Learn the history of Niagara Falls with this 'interactive' experience, with all sorts of things thrown at you! Interesting, but not for the frail.

The story here is cute for kids, mostly designed to sell the character souviners but does give the history of the falls and how the formed in kid friendly way.

I got this as part of a package but shouldn't have wasted my time going. I had to wait around 15 minutes to watch a cartoon and stand on a platform and have water sprayed on me. This might be a bit more exciting for young kids but otherwise give it a wide berth.

Great Omnimax show Disney-style complete with waterworks! It's inside the Table Rock Welcome Center so a good activity on a bad weather day. They give you a plastic poncho so you don't get totally soaked.

This is one of those places that you should visit without knowing too much about it. Have faith, go and let you senses enjoy themselves. Oh, by the way, wear the poncho they give you. You may be indoors but ...........

I find that this was geared more towards families with young children. There was an animated short about how the Falls were formed followed by a simulation of the same thing with some light weather effects such as lightning, thunder, snow, mist and some light splashes of water. I think the floor moved but I couldn't really tell. I would... More

Went as it was part of tour package. There's a kids cartoon to explain the formation of the falls and then a 360 cinema representation of the same, with some flashing lights, some spraying of water & floor shaking. If you're familiar with Orlando style rides this is like something from the 70s. It seemed to hit no target, I... More

I was impressed at the 360 deg surround vision and sound, charting the formation of the falls since the earth began at the start of the performance. What I wasn't expecting was the grating floor to start moving and shaking with the rain pouring down, thunder and lightning, and water swirling round under the grating floor. The hold posts dotted... This is a good experience for young kids who do not get scared in thunderstorms. I got wetter in this than I did on the boat touring the falls! Would not do it again!
