This is a GREAT tour if you are into craft beer and whiskey. My buddy from the area set up the tour for three of us, and we were given VIP treatment by tour owner, Rich. It was evident that Rich has developed some good relationships with the breweries on the tour and the Gretzky distillery, because everywhere we went, we were able to bypass lines and crowds and got some pretty cool "behind-the-scenes" access to the brewers themselves and/ or dedicated guides who provided us with high-level service and delicious tastings. This made the relatively low price of the tour seem like a steal.
Ask for the special trip to Niagara Oast House Brewers if you're into sour beers, and Rich will make it happen! Nice touches with the high-end Mercedes bus and assorted snacks as we rode. Made friends with a couple from Simcoe, ON, who were celebrating a birthday in style. FWIW, they told us NEVER to go to Simcoe. You've been warned.
