Breathtaking!
What a view! Great experience when you go to the Skylon Tower both during the day and night. This is a popular tourist area, so there's a lot of traffic. After a brief "silly" picture taken by a staff member, you take a quick, but smooth ride up on the side of the tower to the viewing deck. It was windy and chilly. The views are incredible. Breathtaking!

Start the Niagara Falls experience here.
We started our Niagara Falls experience at the skylon tower and have no regrets. It was amazing to see all 3 falls from above and reading what we are seeing from the observatory tower.

Tips:
1. The entry fee is worth it. If on the fence, include this experience.
2. Park in the parking lot to the left of the building (it’s slightly cheaper). You can leave your car there as the falls are a 5 minutes walk.
3. Walk to the falls by taking a loop from one end of the falls to the other and get to the parking lot via stairs from the park next to the Skylon tower.

Spectacular Views at Night
Our family had a great time. We went up the tower at night and the views were fantastic! We were only up on the observation deck for maybe 20-30 minutes and there wasn’t any decent shopping that I saw but it is an attraction I would recommend!

Simply stunning views of the falls
Sep. 2020
You will have an amazing experience by taking a look at the stunning Niagara falls in all angles. Best time to go in the evening so you get to see the daylight view and the night view of the fall.

Quite a View
Aug. 2020
Definitely a great view of the Falls, but very windy. It's also very confusing as they only had one door to go outside from and a different one to come back in. However, the one to come back in was not marked at all, and all the other doors were locked. Several people were wandering around the tower on the outside just trying to find which door was unlocked. I found it very expensive, just to go up and get blown around while trying to look at the falls. They con you into getting some photos as well downstairs before you even can get anywhere near the elevators to go up.

Pricey For Very Little
We went with another couple that had small children. The only thing available was the observation deck and a very tiny gift shop. Most doors on the observation deck were closed and it was very confusing for people trying to find how to get inside. The view was good of the falls but it was very pricey just for that.

Revolving dining room anniversary
Nov. 2020 • Couples
We decided to spend our one-year anniversary at Skylon Tower, and we were not disappointed. All expected covid protocols were in place, including all servers wearing masks (many wearing gloves also), lots of hand sanitizer, and enforced social distancing. The tables were spaced nicely apart, which made for a nice intimate dining experience that wasn’t crowded. The 360 view of the city was INCREDIBLE.

As always the service was impeccable from start to finish, as was the dinner. My husband enjoyed his rack of lamb, which was cooked perfectly. My filet mignon with Béarnaise sauce was the best steak I’ve ever had. We finished our meal with an amazing cheesecake, made in house. This is the best place in Niagara Falls to celebrate an occasion.

So cool!
Feb. 2020 • Family
After visiting the falls, we figured we had to stop at the Skylon Tower. The elevator ride was so cool with great views of the falls. At the top it wasn’t super busy which is nice, and there is a lot of info surrounding the location. It was around 30Fahrenheit on the outside deck, which makes sense due to being so high up in February. If you don’t like cold wind, you can stay on the inside portion, or maybe come in the summer months. If you are afraid of heights, this is definitely not for you. I am so glad I stopped here!

First time visiting Skylon Tower. Amazing views and not too busy. Kids loved the ride up the tower in the 'jellybean'
