There is no cost to come, so if you are in the area, it is worth stopping by to stroll and take in the nature. There are lots of ducks and geese. This would be a great spot for a picnic. It has free parking...More

We parked for free at Dufferin Islands Park with the intention of taking a bike ride. Unfortunately I had a flat tire so we were surprised to find a bike repair station by the bathrooms after we had struggled with the tire for a while....More

This is a slightly out of the way, beautiful park setting. Very quiet with a lot of geese and some ducks and seagulls to feed. This was a very nice, free activity that was different than the normal, crowded Niagara attractions.

It is a nice walk and beautiful area. We loved it specially seeing so many geese around, a lot of vegetation and small bridges that give the park an nice feeling. Very quiet and peaceful, it is free too!

What a pretty part of Niagara Falls Dufferin Islands is! It's the perfect place for a romantic or family picnic. Turn the world off for a while and watch the ducks and geese swimming. There are washroom facilities, so that's a plus! Very relaxing.

Named in honour of one of Canada's first Governor Generals, Lord Dufferin, this location is wonderful for picnics and taking strolls. TONS of geese (people feed them, but I'm not a fan of than), ducks and even seagulls (ugh). Beautiful trees, walking paths, water and...More

a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle- stroll, bike ride or drive around - bring your camera and lawn chairs and enjoy nature at it's best.

As we didn't stay right by the falls, every morning we chose to drive through Dufferin Park. It's a beautiful little park. At the end of May there were ducks and geese with being goslings. They were so cute. It's quite interesting to think that...More

Absolutely gorgeous. Huge willow trees weeping into the water that surrounds the lush green islands. Wonderful place for picnics and gatherings or nature walks. Especially winter time, spectacular lighted displays will sparkle in the snow and lighted animated figures to delight the children. It is...More

There are no attractions here, but it's lovely to walk across the bridges around the lakes and islands to explore and relax. There are ducks and geese to feed and plenty of places to have a picnic. Allow about an hour to... More

I would agree, I dont see very many adults swimming in there, I dont think its as clean as it use to be. Also there are beavers....mostly people go there to walk or to picnic or just a quiet place to relax.
